Actually, it's not always a battle whenever one of the Trainers calls you... Sometimes they just greet you, sometimes they give you stuff (Fire, Leaf, Thunder, and Water Stones) which you can either use, or sell for money if you don't need them.SabrE said:Whenever a friend on your phone rings up, make sure you go and battle them, you don't get a great deal of money, but it's worth it.![]()
Where is my rival, then?Aquarelle said:The days are Monday and Wednesday, he gives you 5000 moneys when you beat him, so with the amulet coin, that's 10,000! And his pokemon give off good experience, too.![]()
He's in training in the Dragon's Den. Just before you reach the building where you meet Claire's Grandfather, you can spot him on the opposite side of the Isle. But sometimes he doesn't battle you, saying that "What? *InsertPlayerNameHere*, what are you doing here? ... I'm not going to beat you just yet. My Pokémon need rest." or something like that.Ajox said:Where is my rival, then?
Actually, your rival only battles in the Elite Four. When you approach the stairs on Monday or Wednesday, he'll come up and battle you. You can see your rival in the Dragon's Den on other days, but he never battles you there. Hope I made things clearAlphonse Elric said:He's in training in the Dragon's Den.
