Charizard was the best. Not only for being Ash´s Powerhouse in Johto, Hoenn and the BF, but also was funny when it appears, and burns Ash.
Cyndaquil was cute, but nothing special
Torkoal was scary. Each time something happened, he started to cry, a lot

I'd like to point out that Cyndaquil was THE star of the Johto gyms, and had one of the most developed personalities of the Johto pokemon. Ash only beat Bugsy, two of Whitney's pokemon, Morty's Gastly, and the star pokemon of Jasmine and Pryce, because of Cyndaquil. I don't care if Charizard has wings, attitude issues and his own number at the top of Ash's speed-dial- Cyndaquil is an underdog story worth telling, and he's easily one of the writers' finest creations.

course i'm picking Charizard as he is my favorite pokemon out of all them, and because he is the best fire type that Ash has in the show. Choasmage you can deny it all you want, Charizard is the best, Cyndaquil did do great though in Jouto there was no mistake about it, heck it even braved icy water to beat a Dewgong which was definitely impressive but compared to how powerful Charizard is Cyndaquil's got nothing on him, but he is better than poor Torkoal who i'm still wondering why the writers even bother to give him to Ash in the first place, cause when you consider how rare it was used and even then it really only had a few important battles as well, i wish the writers would have emphasis on it more, but they didn't and the poor thing paid for it in spades.

Cyndaquil. Torkoal's an oversensitive freak, and Charizard's an overrated piece of defiant crap. He's also overused, and way more popular than the others, so I'll vote for the more obscure ones. ;D

Torkoal for me. Cool, funny, though pathetically shafted. Cyndaquil was also awesome, and he'd have my vote were it not for Torkoal. Lol Charizard.
