Oosubame. Badass voice, badass attack methods, badass (and often believable) battles, he's just plain badass (though, more of a distinguishable personality would be nice, but he's already a step above his other flyers as it is). He's quite the heavy-hitter, and with his choreography in flight, he's just very exciting to see every time he's used in combat. If you don't believe me, check out this post of mine describing part of his fight in the previous Japanese episode.

Oosubame f***ing rocks in this episode, and though it was brief, him going against the Mecha Onidrill Army was definitely one of the best parts of the episode. If you're only looking at screenshots of this episode, still shots do not do the guy justice. I mean, look at this and see what you're missing out on.

After bashing one Onidrill out of the way, he then proceeds to grasp another by the neck before tossing it behind him.

Afterwards, he lowers his altitude and goes in to strike another mecha from below...

Followed immediately by an aerial sommersault.

He's not bad aesthetically, neither, with a spiffy red and navy (almost black) color scheme. You also gotta enjoy the irony of it all... before he evolved, he saw about the same type of usage as his previous birds. The typical tool that does nothing but scout and pop Rocket balloons. He hardly saw much battle, and when he did, he got a win record that would make him envious of Cotoise. Once he evolved, though, he did a complete turn around, and even accomplished something that his last birds never did: he become one of the most prominent members of Satoshi's team (well, Pigeon BEFORE the starters came around might be an exception... you know, I agree with Cyber, Pigeon was a wasted opportunity. The writers could've done much more with him, but they opted to stuff starters down our throats instead).
Overall, I'd say he ranks up as my second favorite of Satoshi's Pokemon, only after Jukain. Jukain, of course, doesn't fly, so it was ridiculously easy for Oosubame to get my vote in this thread.
