Favorite Ash gym battle in Johto

I voted Clair, she was the strongest gym leader in Johto, her Dragonair was very strong, and the battle with Charizard iconic yet.
Seismic Toss was a great move to defeat Dragonair, but it was sadly too much similar to the way Charizard defeated Blaine's Magmar in Kanto. Sadly too Ash didn't use Johto Pokémons in this battle, maybe because they weren't strong enough to win against her.

Anyway voted Clair. Charizard was cool asf in that battle, and it was hype to see Snorlax be used too

I liked the Gym battle against Mikan [Jasmine], mostly due to Hinoarashi's [Cyndaquil's] involvement. I don't typically hold the Jouto Gyms in high regard, however.

Ash vs Falkner was quite nice.
I personally see Falkner as the 2nd strongest Anime Johto Gym (with Clair only being strongest).

Brock actually explicitly says this; when it was revealed that Ash was using reserves during his battle.

If it involved Charizard it was pretty good so Clair and Falkner are my top picks.

Special mention goes to Whitney as having Miltank with Rollout sweep Ash’s entire team being a near perfect adaptation of the player’s experience in the games was pretty cool to see.

Ash vs Clair, I liked seeing Ash have Charizard evaporate the water in the pool, Snorlax taking many hits from Kingdra and Pikachu using Agility to run on top of Hydro Pump.
