Favorite Ash gym battle in Sinnoh

Hi there!

I want to finish these polls before Ash ends his journey at the end of March, so let's do this poll about your favorite Ash gym battle in Sinnoh.

Although there are very good Ash battles in Sinnoh, I'm voting Maylene's gym battle because the battle was good (Lucario vs Buizel was really good) plus the story behind the gym leader and the episodes dedicated to her as well.

Paul vs Roark Volkner gym battle with the Fantina gym as the runner-up. All the gym battles were solid this time around but those two stood out the most for me.

I loved the Fantina gym, because the Counter Shield was one of the greatest things during the serie, and it was remembered also during the Master Eight!

Volkner battle screwed over Torterra but otherwise is my favourite. Infernape was so good in it. And fantina’s was satisfying seeing counter shield

Maylene, I know there are a lot of fights better than this leader but I liked the way she was portrayed. And her Lucario was cool, Ash then had a problem with her but he tied.

My my, now THIS is a series with an actual good gym challenge
Each battle is still so memorable to me and the writing was so strong
Every gym battle was amazing but I'll go with Maylene simply coz the entire Maylene arc was the best written

Ash vs Volkner is what made Volkner made my favorite Pokémon character but honestly these are all great. Even my least favorite (Maylene) is still pretty good. DP can't stop winning

Ash vs Candice, I liked seeing Grotle take hits from Sneasel and beat it despite its reduced speed after evolving. Ash vs Maylene is actually my least favourite, as he never actually defeated her.
