Favorite Bug-Type Pokemon?

The whole Venipede family is my favorite because when I first played Black I used a Venipede that I caught in Pinwheel Forest that became one of my most trusted Pokemon when it evolved to Scolipede.

I like Venipede because he was my first shiny in Pokémon black

Galvantula is easily my favourite Bug-type, it's a great speedy special attacker with access to some nice moves like Bug Buzz and Discharge, plus some useful status moves like Gastro Acid. Heracross is a close second place, nice and tanky with good a physical moveset, but even though it's a bug I've always seen it more as a Fighting-type than a Bug-type. Vikavolt really grew on me when I used it in Ultra Sun recently, and while it does have some issues I'm happy to put it as my third favourite. I'm eager to use Frosmoth in Sword and Shield, and I've heard good things about Orbeetle too.

Pinsir has been my single favourite Pokémon since the late 90s, and nothing has come close for over 20 years.

Escavalier, Volcarona, Scizor, Galvantula, and Frosmoth would be my top five favorites, with the honorable mentions being Anorith and Golisopod.

Pinsir has been my single favourite Pokémon since the late 90s, and nothing has come close for over 20 years.

While I don't particularly care for the species myself, I remember back when Heracross was first revealed and a lot of people thought that Kailios (Pinsir) was its pre-evolved form, especially when the first Heracross episode was aired since it involved Kailios as well. That's probably my strongest memory about that particular Bug-type.
