I say G/S/C, actually. I fell in love with that music when I first played my Silver, and I don't think any other of the PokéMon music could be better.
OK, the music on Mt. Pyre is better than the G/S/C music. But apart from that.

Yep, G/S/C, especially for the battle themes. I liked a few tidbits for R/B/Y as well, namely Vermillion City and Viridian (sp?) forest, but G/S/C takes the cake.

Where's the Colosseum/XD option?

As far as GBA games, I'm torn between G/S/C and R/S/E. They both had atleast one peice that I really enjoyed. I loved your rival's theme music in G/S/C, and the Team Aqua theme in R/S/E. I can't decide.

although it's winning i think ruby and sapphire's music was a bit to similar. great ss.anne music though (not as good as fr and lg though)

What are you talking about? RBY's was too simplistic due to technology issues, I loved GSC, but RSE is simply the best with its diverse music; it had upbeat music, depressing music, dramatic music.

RSE > GSC > FRLG > RBY

Technically my favorite music is from Colo, but from these choices it's R/S/E(they're the only ones I've played out of these, but I like the music a lot)
