Favorite Japanese Opening

As the name says, which opening do you like best?

Thanks to the magic of YouTube, I was able to see them, and I like these best.

(Ranked from most favorite to least favorite)

Needless to say, far better than the dub openings, except for the Orange Islands.

I just love Akina's Battle Frontier. I swear I have all versions of the song, two long versions, two videos and the ballet version
My other top favorite is the eighth season one.... It's just so unique and incredible. Everytime I watch the video, I cry
I like Mezase Pokemon Master the second version, OK and Challenger.
I hate Spurt and Rival though. Spurt's first scene is awesome though. Talk about a wacked up song. Now maybe if they split it into two songs.... but the music keeps changing and changing and it gives me a headache.

Ooh I love Battle Frontier (the 1st one) especially the extended version.

Second Place is Spurt. I'd be fine if that was the 9th Dub opening left unchanged.

Third place is Symphonic Medley.

Thank God for Youtube. For the last like 2 months that's all I listen to. XD

My favorites are probably Ok!, Mezase Pokemon Master, Spurt, Battle Frontier and Symphonic Melody. Probably Symphonic Melody is number one though. The orchestration is simply superb and I just <3 it.

It's from the Legend of Thunder special. And it's awesome. I like it quite a bit better than some of the other ones.

Anyhow, here are my favorites:

1. ポケモン シンフォニック メドレー a.k.a. Pokemon Symphonic Medley. It's really awesome, and if you listen closely it has bits from various openings and endings instrumentalized (if that's a word). I LOVED the version of Mezase Pokemon Masutaa at the end. Wish they had stuff like this in the dub. *sob*

2. バトルフロンティア, also known as Battle Frontier. Gotta love this one. Not only is it the first Japanese opening I ever saw (not counting Mezase Pokemon Masutaa because I didn't see that one, I just heard it), but it just has something to it that is so cool. I watched it every day and tried to memorize it, and now I can sing the whole thing by memory. xD I'm crazy.

3. 新たなる誓い or good ol' Aratanaru Chikai. I like listening to the acoustic version, but both are good. Can't go wrong with this one. Sometimes I get tired of seeing Satoshi-tachi popping up in every single opening like little moles (wish I had a hammer). Plus the vocals are awesome.

Honorable mentions are:

スパート!/Spurt! would be on there if I didn't just pick three. It's probably fourth out of the top five, if not tied with Arantanaru up there. It reminds me of anime conventions, for some reason. O__o

Ready Go! just because it's so bizzare.

And finally, アドバンスアドベンチャー or Advance Adventure. Who can't like it? Besides, the instrumental version made it into the dub. It HAS to be good to get into the dub, yeh?
