Favorite Johto E4 member?

Which of Johto's Elite 4 members did everybody like the most? Please explain your choice(s) a little.

I gotta say that Karen was my fav since she had a no-nonsense attitude and her team looked good. She was the first Dark-type specialist, too, which is rad lol.

I'm going with Bruno. I liked him from the Kanto E4 and I'm glad he stayed around for Johto, it was a bit unique as he was the only one to do that. I'm also rather fond of Koga, I find it interesting how he went from being a Gym Leader to an Elite Four member. I don't really care much for Will or Karen though.

I really liked Koga. All his pokemon were pokemon that I have used before, and he used to be a gym leader. His episode of the anime was always one of my favorites too so that probably helps.

Will, mostly because of his design (prefer his HGSS updated design, though). Also, he was the first Elite Four member I ever fought in the games (reached the E4 on Gold before Yellow), so he's always been memorable to me for that reason. And also because I remember losing to him when I first played Gold. A lot.

I like both Karen and Will for their HGSS designs. Also Karen gave me a pretty freakin hard time.

Will was always my top favourite Johto E4 member cuz I liked how he kind of resembled a harlequin. I thought Karen was cool as well and my only complaint about Johto's E4 was that it only contained new two members introduced in Gen 2.

I'll vote for Koga since he was much cooler as part of the Elite Four in Gold/Silver than he was as a Gym Leader in Red/Blue. His team was the hardest one for me to beat though.

Favorite Gen 2 Elite 4 member?

There was one who said something along the likes of "Each Pokemon has it's own strengths. Don't focus on the most powerful, use the ones you like to the best of their abilities." I don't remember her name, but I liked the sentiment, so she gets my vote.

That's Karen, who also happens to be my favorite. I love her attitude about using her favorite type (Dark), and I admire her strong, serious personality.

I'll go with Karen. Although her famous quote is overrated, I still like it. I also like her design quite a lot. I do wish she used a Sneasel on her team,though.

I played SS before regular Silver, and I loved Will's design!! I also liked Karen, being the first Dark-Specialist and all, but the fact that Koga went from Gym Leader to E4 member was a really cool thing. So, I'll say Will.

Probably Koga, because previously facing him as a gym leader made battling him kind of like battling an old friend and seeing how much they've grown and improved in the interim.

Karen since she had a cool design in the games, but too bad we didn't get her full artwork by Ken Sugimori in Gen 2.

Well, I don't really have a clear favourite Johto E4 member but probably Karen. I like her quote about 'Strong Pokémon. Weak Pokémon' and how Trainers should get out of that perception and win with their favourite Pokémon. Despite being a Dark specialist, I also found her team a bit more interesting than the others, especially with Vileplume and Gengar.

Never really thought about it... I enjoyed them all, Karen for type choice, will and bruno since i never brought any poke to handle their primary typing, so always had to fight using their secondary type weaknesses, and I agree with the person who said that battling Koga was like catching up with an old friend, that battle was always so fun, mostly because Typhlosion could sweep his whole team, so I never really worried about beating him.

They were an enjoyable elite four all in all. Karen is probably my favorite, because of her type choice, even though she only used 2 of the like 3-4 dark types available in Gen 2.

Itsuki (Will) is my favorite. His jester-inspired design intrigues me, also since he was the easiest of the four, I've developed a fondness for his team and its lack of a major challenge.
