Favorite Kanto E4 member?

Kanna (Lorelei) was my favorite, but not by much since I wasn't exactly a big fan of the four to begin with. But at least Kanna had a team that was somewhat diverse, by which I mean that she concentrated on Water-types that had secondary types as well.

Agatha even though she was a mystery. I just wish she hadn't used a full team of Poison Pokemon since it seemed repetitive after Koga.

Agatha.

I like how she immediately opens by talking trash about Professor Oak, and how she seems kind of bitter about the fact that he decided to stick to researching. Adds some much needed Pokemon world history to the Gen 1 games.

I'm pretty sure that she was meant to be a Ghost-type specialist; it just so happened that the only three Ghost-types available in R/G/B/Y were half Poison-type.

Bruno, for rock hard determination, and breaking the mountaintop with supernatural, awesome, epic, and cool fighting techniques.

There was some weird episode where he pulled Sandslash out of Onix.

Lorelei because she had a good team and she reminded me of Misty. Lance was a good E4 member too even if he had a hacked Dragonite.

I always had a great respect for Lance. I blitzed through the first three then got stopped by Lance on my first run through. I had to level grind with wild Pokemon to defeat Lance, and while that sucked at the time, it's a fond memory now.

Also, everyone complaining about Agatha having poison types needs to remember that the lack of non-poison Ghost types is really the problem there. That's actually a huge flaw in Gen I, as it makes Ghost types pretty weak. So I think Agatha probably seemed like a good idea in theory, but failed in execution.

As much as I liked Wataru's (Lance's) design, he seemed like a generic edgy character in the Generation I games. I much preferred his role in the Jouto games as opposed to his role in R/G/B/Y.

Even though it's true she could've also had a Ninetales and a psychic tyle (Hypno for example) and it would be more diversed:)

Any mystic-like Pokemon would've been good, but I guess that the main issue with her team in R/G/B/Y had more to do with the flaws of Gen I's type spread than on anything else.

Lance. Has the most personality. The strongest IMO. Also the fact that he teams up with you in Gen II to take down Team Rocket was fun.

Lance was cool with his cape and dragon tamer theme, although I didn't like facing his Dragonite so I kind of always regretted rebattling him lol.

I liked that she specialized in Ice-types even though she had a random Yadoran (Slowbro), which kind of caught me off-guard in Red version.

She was the easiest one to beat for me since she didn't use too many status moves like Agatha or have broken Pokemon like Lance.
