Probably Celebi, with Tangrowth very close behind. Always loved Tangela.

what exactly do any of these pokemon have in relation to the other? Besides the obvious celebi and tangrowth are grass, and xatu and celebi are psychic.

Out of those 4, there are only 2 I really like.

I don't hate Xatu, but I never used it. Hmm... I should like, totally, train a Xatu and stuff in HeartGold. Anyway.
I never had a Celebi, so there's no way I could like it, unless it had to be for the animé. And I don't usually like the Celebi in there. So no.

Tangrowth is okay. It looks pretty awesome/neat, and it had a nice episode in the animé once.

But Bidoof. Man, those things. I love them. They pop up WHENEVER YOU DON'T WANT THEM and annoy the heck out of you.

I'm not a big Xatu fan. I do love the ol' "Vendor Trash" Pokemon, but Celebi wins out for me. Tangrowth is just a giant Tangela. Tangela's cool, but not as cool as Celebi.
