Whats your favorite resident evil game or movie y?

i like resident evil 4. El Gigante and Krouser are the best. i also like the behind-the-back shooting. i just didnt like how you couldnt give ashley a gun or a knife...... theres another reason..... i cant remember why.

What do u think?

RE4 is a great game and I really like it but it isn´t your classic resident evil as it sometimes lacked of atmosphare. The village and the island were cool, but the castle stage were a bit dissapointing abart from the "playing ashey" part.

the RE1 remake for the Gamecube is brilliant and hard to beat. I just love its atmosphere.

story and content-wise RE2 is my favourite RE game as you can replay it so many times with different scenarios. But it is kinda outdated by today´s standarts.

RE2 with RE4 graphic and RE1-remake atmosphere would be the perfect RE game.

EDIT: funny how this thread is turning itself into a " I am so mature because I´m old enough to play RE" discussion.

REmake, RE4 was good, but REmake is superior to me, I was actually scared where RE4 lacks the fear and in place gives you Indiana Jones-esque action instead.

I liked Resident Evil Code Veronica the best. It was the first one I ever played. Plus it scared my big brother quite abit. It was also pretty fun, I just didn't like playing it in the day. Since the game was so dark, the sun from the windows made it worse and I couldn't see a thing.

I love RE4 for the revised features, but I can't say it was my favorite storyline. It would be nice for them to develop a game in the same style as RE4, but based on the original Umbrella storyline.

Ummm... Resident Evil Outbreak File 1 and 2. IT has online play, so you can make up tactics with your friends! I also like that you can't use a mic/keyboard ingame too cause people would just talk about their lives and crap. I don't want to know what you just had for dinner!

I can easily say Resident Evil 4, maybe its because i love the new style of playin the game or maybe its nice and refreshing to get a new storyline once in a while (Dont get me wrong though, i loved the Umbrella Story, but still...)

Krauser is one of my favorite characters in any game, amd i love the huge crocadile thing, cuz it made me on the edge of my seat with all the suspense and freakiness of it.
