Favorite Transit Bus Manufacturer

Well, considering there is a poll for school buses, now I will do one for transit buses.

Where the heck are Greyhound, Peter Pan, MegaBus, Bolt Bus, and those crappy China Town buses?

Anyway, I hate taking buses. I even got to throw a hissy fit over it earlier this year.

Those are not manufacturers, those are motorcoach operating companies. Plus, motorcoaches are not the same as transit buses since they are designed for long distance travel. For example, the Greyhound fleet features motorcoaches by Motor Coach Industries (MCI) as well as Prevost.

BTW, the Peter Pan buses are not transit buses, but motorcoaches. The difference is that transit buses are typically used for urban mass transit, while motorcoaches are typically used for long distance travel. The typical modern transit bus has a low-floor design for easy access, while motorcoaches are always a high-floor design, often with luggage compartments under the floor. Maybe I should do a poll for motorcoaches.
