May is always smiled, brave, friendly, cute and smart. Every girl should be like her.
I like Misty because she is little tomboy and original, and I dislike Hikari for her boring and explosive personality. I know, May will not return as main character but I hope I will see her someday in the special. Misty has specials so May deserves some too.

Misty, definitely. Brock was around for four seasons too many, May and Max were downright annoying, Tracey was pretty pointless, and I've seen hardly anything of Dawn. Misty may have lost some of her flare during Johto, but at least she had a good send off and follow-up episodes.

I wonder why people call Tracey pointless? He was good. Smart, talented, experienced, mature. His team wasnt strong because he was NOT a battler. He was a pokemon watcher. If Tracey was pointless what would you say about Brock or Dawn then? Brock has been doing nothing since Johto and Dawn is a clone of May (Misty should have returned- she is much more interesting than dull Dawn). Tracey wasnt useless, boring dude and I liked him better than Brock.

Agreed! He's smart and talented, and he often helps Ash and co. back there ;D
