i'd say kotone should be left out since hg/ss is only out in jap atm, and it's playable characters and the majority of ppl on serebii are in the US so...

From that list, Leaf. She's the most normal looking girl there. While I prefer May's outfit, Leaf's sprite doesn't look freaky when running. ^_^

Of course, if HGSS was out, my favourite would be Kotone, hands down, I think. Her whole look is awesome. =3
