Features missing in ORAS?

- Scott and Pike Queen Lucy are in the game.

Actually, Scott is only mentioned. It's his scout that's in the game (the guy in black suit and glasses).

And to others wondering where Lucy is, she's the female NPC (Delinquent Trainer Class) on the eastern side of the 2nd floor in the Battle Maison.

I thought that was Scott himself, just in his scouting uniform. You sure it's not him?

-The minigames (That one of the Venusaurs especially, I had some fun playing it)
-Gym leaders rematches (I remember when the first leader that I don't remember the english name had pokemons at level 80 and above, damn those was some fun fights)
-Battle frontier (I didn't played so much in Emerald, but now I miss it because the after-league-and-pokedex content it's not sooo big)
-A bit more of difficulty. The Kalos pokemon league was harder, come on Game Freak. But at least the Hoenn one have better music. MUCH better music.

That Mira girl in DPPt referred to herself in third person all the time. So it could be Scott undercover.

I guess so but the lack of some Emerald stuff made these games kind of lackluster for me.

I remember when Or/As first came out on how several fans disliked that many Emerald features were excluded, but I still think that Gamefreak just wanted to focus on Ruby & Sapphire's features cuz those games are the basis of these remakes.

I thought he was referring to himself in third person. I think that, judging from Emerald, Scott is a guy who scouts for promissing trainers personally, so I always assumed it was Scott himself, and had just scouted Lucy in ORAS.

ORAS has plenty of stuff to do in the post game.

And even if he was Scott, it's not like it affected the games. I didn't care for the Lucy reference either since we didn't get the Frontier any ways, so it seemed pointless to name drop her. ^^

in pokemon emerald i didnt get past brawly so... cant really name many features except that automatic Pokeblocks was a travesty! ;-; I'm still crying inside lol

but otherwise it was an excellent game and was seriously fun

I was bummed the casino in mauville city didnt make a return appearance in this game. It was such an easy money maker, and a good time waster too.

I missed the Pikachu animations during the slots bonus game. I also liked the roulette tables.

I missed the Game Corner also. I'll admit that I always had terrible luck with the slot machines in RS, but having it in Or/As still would've been cool as a side activity to cure boredom hee hee. :3

Right? I was awful at the slots too but that's what kept me going! I had to win big! But it was easy money and I found that money is much harder to accrue since game corner is gone :/

I honestly wish they put the gym leader rematches in ORAS. I do get bored in going to the Elite Four sometimes...

But don't you guys know why the Game Corner wasn't in ORAS, or any game since DP really? It's due to new anti gamble laws in Europe/US, so Game Freak were forced to leave the Game Corner out of the games ever since. That's why they show it closed in ORAS, and that's why previous games didn't have it either.

Huh, I didnt even know about the law. This rule applies to fake video game currency? I was reading the wiki and it just seemed really vague. Or is it more... not influencing children to gamble? and where is it closed in ORAS? I'd like to see that =]
