Yea totally, the way mewtwo recognised ash and the way alola ep wentYeah. Is it wrong to expect any references to Kalos here?

i was thinking ash will get his solo battleYeah, it seems it's 2 vs 1. Honestly I wouldn't mind seeing double evolution: Scizor and Sirfetch'd. But, I do think we will get at least Scyther evolving, tbh.
U do realize that's extremely vital for Farfetch'd story and personal development right? That would be lame lol
So just because you never wanted Farfetch'd, it should be unceremoniously shipped off into offscreen land and be evolved in an episode it doesn't have proper focus. Wow
Or, y'know, it was actually a Double Battle the whole time and we just assumed it was two separate one-on-ones. And for all we know, Scyther'll go down, making it a one-on-one anyway. And now people will told to me: "He does not butt in"
Come on... Your likeness for the character is blinding some of you.
I'm already doubting it'll evolve anyways. Im actually now more into Scyther doing the evolving instead since the armor it's wearing can technically serve as a Metal Coat.I hope farfetch'd doesn't evolve here then, it'd be weird for it to not have full focus, and I don't mind this farfetch'd arc to last a bit longer
But if the double battle is reduced to a one on one then that would mean Escavalier would go down as well. It could be the first E4 Pokemon Ash defeatsOr, y'know, it was actually a Double Battle the whole time and we just assumed it was two separate one-on-ones. The fact that the praying mantis is literally clad in a Metal Coat, is fighting a Steel-Bug of its own, has swords for hands and being trained by a Steel-type specialist—man not evolving would such a kid in the teeth. Just do it son—been wanting a Hassam on the cast for a while. Seems like it’s only role in the show is a generic strong Pokémon to be fodderized.I'm already doubting it'll evolve anyways. I never thought Kamonegi was evolving here—mainly because it’s last episode established its issue of not being a true friend and teammate at the tail end. It just wouldn’t seem super likely or it to evolve here and suddenly the problem is fixed and they’re confronting Rinto in its next focus episode. I feel like it would evolve in the presence of Rinto/Erlade.
Yeah lucario also has expressed interest in battles has he got any battles onscreen? Leave E4 but has he battled a pwc onscreen andsometimes it's just a better idea to prolong things, but not to this extent. Ash should get more focus, agreed, but Go being here makes total sense. just tell me WHO on ashs' current team would benefit from sparring with a guy who's entire motif is being a chivalrous knight and also puts armor on? I don't think dragonite is going to cut it unless he has dragon armor, gengar is...special. it could just float out of the armor. and then poor dracovish...ok, just because people don't like a pokemon doesn't mean it doesn't have to be shafted permanently to offscreen land forever. that's just petty unless it did something really bad. like hog focus with lucario. it's either have them, or don't have them at all for some people.
Go has a scyther. that's reason enough to have it be here because scyther has expressed interest in being stronger but go doesn't battle with it or bring it along too often anymore. plus if kamon can't even work with ash and shuns the rest of the team I guess an outsider who is like it and has a fresh experience would do a better job at relating to it and helping it out
So Gengar or Dragonite should just show just to lose just to make Ash’s Farfetch’d look good then. Because that’s basically what would happen if they were used here.Hjh

ofcourse why would ash's dragonite and gengar would benefit from the battle cuz they have nothing with those knight outfits. Battling an E4 does make the opponent gain more experience right?
Go being here cuz scyther has interest in battles isnt the right reason. Dragonite and gengar too have interest to b better at battles. But they r not goh's mons so they dont have the previlage to do things onscreen and so get plot armours
Who knows that dragonite and gengar will lose? It could b a 3v3 or 2v2 battle where ash fights 1st with farfetch but his flaws r detected and then gengar who is not so strong but can deal a considerable damage and gains some advice and for dragonite it shouldnt b in this ep also i never said dragonite should b in this ep i just said that dragonite shouldnt appear as it has nothing to do with armours is not rightSo Gengar or Dragonite should just show just to lose just to make Ash’s Farfetch’d look good then. There isn’t any reason to expect the episode to just suddenly bend around if Gengar or Dragonite were in the episode being used in the battle with Farfetch’d considering this episode s clearly part of Farfetch’d’s arc meaning it’s going to be the one getting the shine.Who knows that dragonite and gengar will lose? How is it 'Wasted' when it prominently features a Kalos E4 Member never shown in the main anime, and featuring training for Ash and Goh's mons and much needed farfetch'd focus by that Kalos character?Wasted Kalos episode
