Looks pretty exciting. Also Jigglypuff is a Wigglytuff and I'm almost sure that is Granbull, you can tell by the ears. Looks like Jirachi is waking up soon and we'll know whats up.

Professor Oak said that Blue's specialty was Evolution, yes, but that doesn't mean that it's her Pokemon that have to evolve. If that was the case, then everyone elses specialty would be evolution as well. Their teams are fully evolved for the most part. I think he was referring to her knowledge on how Pokemon evolve, if I remember right.

It looks like Mewtwo finally got the M2 bind off. But is it just me or does it's figure look kinda funny. And for R/S, it's about time that Rayquaza got there.

Indeed, it seems quite natural for evolution to occur whenever possible for the pokemon in the manga.

Wait! Courtney could be Ruby's real mom! See the picture where they're working together? They look so much alike. I thought this might be true before, but I never seen them in the same pose to compare. Ruby could've been adopted. The reason why he never found out could be that his adopted mom thought he was to young to take the news and so she was going to tell him later when hes older. I'm believing my theory for now.

They already showed what Ruby's mom looked like in the first chapter of R/S.

And besides, Courtney looks WAAAAY to young to be Ruby's mother. I'm guessing Courtney's around 20. And Ruby's 11. Meaning Courtney would be 9 when Ruby was born. Yes, that's right, NINE. So no.

Fine, but I still think that Courtney is somehow related to Ruby. And I have another theory. Maybe Courtney is Ruby's big sister, heres how it could've happened. Some years ago when Courtney was young, Ruby's mom was just your regular mom, not overprotective as she is today. But somehow Courtney got lost/tooken away/went missing, She grieved for a while and then had Ruby. And when Ruby was about to go on his journey, she couldn't bear to think about what could happen to Ruby, like what happened to Courtney. So she decided to go with Ruby to make sure nothing happened to him, and to maybe get a clue of what became of Courtney.

Wouldn't that be weird? Doesn't Courtney have a crush on Ruby?? I guess it could be sisterly love or something but I think it's just Courtney has feelings for Ruby

Translations up, and I'm also happy to say that I've gotten volume 21 today as well. I'll put up a brief summary on it later, but what's interesting is Johto Boy's second theory has a remote chance to be correct.

In the preview section about volume 22 (which will be the last volume for RSE), one of the main focus is 'Why is Ruby choosing to fight with Courtney and leave Sapphire inside the air-car?'. Immediately next to these screens, we see the young Norman and Ruby's mom. The young Norman says 'it's my fault', and the Pokemon Association Chairman declares that Norman will be bereft of the right to sit for any gymleader selection tests for some years, and he is ordered to go off and search for the missing pokemon. Young Norman apologizes to Ruby's mom that he will not be able to spend much time with the family from now on, and Ruby's mom is seen crying.

That's definetly an interesting thought. I thought she seemed kind of...'maternal villainous', if you catch my drift. Most villains would have just taken him out quickly if they had him trapped like she did in the Rusturf Tunnel, but she simply got close for a moment, and then left him alone, as if she wanted to give him a chance to escape. Then again >_> I could just be looking too far into it.

Good Summaries there Coronis, but doesn't Blue have a Nidoqueen, not a Nidoking?

Just asking... Now, interesting. Silver will most likely be pretty shocked by her Pokemon Evolutions (I think so...)

Also, it's possible that Johto Boy's theory is true?

expanding Johto Boy's theory, i think that Norman hunted down rayquaza since it has nothing better to do than fly in the ozone layer, it could search on one side of the earth while he searches another area for Courtney. or maybe he just wanted to have a way to travel faster so he could search faster?

In a way I'm thankful that her team is finally fully evolved. Guess the writers are having a hard time thinking up good attacks on her unevolved team members, since we haven't really seen what attacks her team could do aside from Blastoise throughout the whole FRLG series, while those of Red and Green have been showcasing quite some new attacks they've mastered.

Actually, I'm interested to know if Blue will continue to use Jiggly to fly. *imagines Wigglytuff blown up like a balloon*
