Feebas, which rod?

In the Feebas section, it says use Super Rod, but Carvanha are "Very Common" and Feebas would still be "Very Rare". So which would be best? I would think Good Rod but...

Old rod............

Feebas is one of the three Pokemon being able to be caught on that. More info can be found on a sticky in the FAQ section. It is called:

Latias, Latios, and Feebas FAQ.

Oh, okay. Thanks! I read that, but all I catch are Magikarp...I know it only appears on 6 tiles, I read the site's help thing on Feebas. But I'm trying to complete my pokedex and I don't want this to be the last pokemon I have to find...it will kill me...

Edit: Oh, and don't you mean 4 pokemon? I thought, Magikarp, Tentacool, Goldeen, Feebas? Or only in Emerald is Goldeen caught with that...x.x I hate Feebas...*kills stupid fish*

You can use any rod, but I use old, since you only find three pokemon, and on low levels. No, you can't catch wild goldeen on route 119, which is Feebas' home.

Actually, you can only use the Old Rod to the left of Fortree, since Feebas is a weak Pokemon and is considered to be in the Magikarp section. :p

Oh, I meant that you could catch more than three pokemon with the rod altogether...xP

It's like a Magikarp only can learn TM's/HM's. But it's soooooooooo rare...and evolves in a hard to evolve way, too. *sigh* Pokedex completion is sooooooooo hard to get...

That is not true. It is found on levels 20-25 ALL THE TIME. I personally tested this myself, and i used an old rod to get a level 24 feebas, a good rod to get a level 21 feebas, and a super rod to get a level 23 feebas. Go ahead and try it (if you know where feebas is).

They are right, you can use any kind of rod but the best is old rod (for me) because I caught a bunch of Feebas with it.

I used a Super Rod and caught one on the second tile I tried. So I suggest a Super Rod, because the only other Pokemon I hooked was Carvanha.

I used a Super Rod so I didn't have to catch both Magikarp and Tentacool. By the way, using my Super Rod caught me a Shiny Carvanah.

ok, now, where are the 6 Feebas tiles? I know that the tiles are the same on every game, they just differ which one is used by the Feebas. and yeah, feebas can be cought with any rod, you just need to find the right tile (friends tell me that, they just wouldn't tell me which tiles...)

Definatly the old rod, Feebas is like a magikarp but VERY rarer.

Tile varies with your game and the phrase in the Dewford hall, the very trendy one i think...Even if you and a friend have the same phrase, the tiles will be different.

Another reason to use the Old Rod: It's easier to catch things with it. You have to press A quicker and more often with the Super Rod, and it makes no difference since you can catch Feebas with the Old Rod anyway.

Feebas tiles are different for each game. You'll have to fish in each one until you find one that works.

super rod works good. you just have to make sure you're in the right spot.

Thanks! I used Old Rod, caught 3 female and 1 male, and now I have a Milotic, too. I didn't think I'd get so many replies! lol Congratz on the Shiny Carvanha killerjaw01. I have 1 shiny...Whismur. I hate them anyway...x.x *huggles my Milotic*

Off Topic: I now have 183 pokedex registrations. ^^ 17 to go! lol
