~Fickle Minds...Persian~

Nyaa...it's a larger-than-usual post from me!~

Here are their brief descriptions:

Persian, believe it or not, is based off an old real card. Take a guess, then look here to see if you guessed correctly! The artwork (Persian's expression), and attacks are loosely based off this card (which I think is very weak, but still fun to play). (Artwork)

Bloom Berry works like a Life Herb, with the trick being you have to get your Pokemon to stay as your Active for 3 turns...kinda weak, huh?

Deep-Sea Scanner is nothing special, just playing with water effects :p.

Ryo's Determination is my first attempt at Sugimori art - Ryo is the first Elite Four you meet in Pokemon DP. (Artwork) And...

Guardian's Blessing! If you were here in January earlier this year, this was a different card. It is a rework of one of my older cards - it has the Epic type, which limits it to 1 per deck and once per game. It allows you to take an extra turn(!) but with a very flippy downside. (Artwork)

And that's all I have for now. These cards are for my collection, EX: Dreamscape...You won't be seeing me until mid-December, since my final exams are beginning :(. Give your comments and crits!

Awesome cards as always, here's what I think for each of them:

Persian - First attack is cool, but there's an error on the second attack. It says it does 40- damage, yet the description says it alters the base damage. Either change the damage to just 40, or change the description to, "If he or she does, this attack does 40 damage minus 20 damage." Love the art too.

Bloom Berry and Deep-Sea Scanner - Two fine trainer cards. Can't see anything wrong with them.

Ryo's Determination - Nice effect, but Ryo looks a tad bulky and older then he does in the real Sugamori art.

Guardian's Blessing! - Hooray for super powerful cards! Love the draw-back too, balances out the card nicely. It also means that although you get two turns, you still only attack once (since I believe you can only play trainers before you attack, right?). So am I right in assuming it just lets you draw another card and evolve all the Pokemon you had just played and evolved the previous turn?

Shame you'll be away for a while. You are undoubtedly the best faker around here.

I based Persian's Fickle Swipe attack off Deoxys Breloom's Special Punch, which reads '70-: During your next turn, Hustle Punch attack's base damage is 50 instead of 70.'. I only assumed that it could apply to Fickle Swipe's effect as well.

I'm glad you liked the other cards as well, especially Guardian's Blessing :). Thanks!

Well I'll be an SOB, you're right. Either it's a misprint, or I don't understand the way cards work as much as I thought I did. :D Shame there aren't that many cards to compare it with.

Guardian's Blessing is a neat idea. I'm a keen Magic player, and cards like that pop up from time to time. Also like how you've applied the Shiny rule to Trainers.

Oh, wow they're lovely fake cards. They all seem quite real and the effects and such are reasonable. The art's very nice too. I also love the idea of an epic card. Good job! :)
