Welcome, all, to the Fifth Gen Finale. This tournament will be the final test of what you have accomplished and learned during the course of the 5th generation of Pokemon. If you are questioning the truth behind that statement, I direct you to the fact that, as a 32 player tournament with 1 week rounds and a 1 week signup period, This tournament is slated to end on October 11th, 2013. As I am sure many of you are aware, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y are released on October 12th, so this will truly be the final test of Black and White (1 & 2) competitive Pokemon
The Breakdown
This tournament will test your skills in all 5 of the major tiers. Ubers, OverUsed, UnderUsed, RarelyUsed and NeverUsed. You will note that there are 5 tiers listed. This does NOT mean that each round will be a different tier. Rather, in each single round, you could be playing in as many as 3 different tiers in a single match. Here is how it will work. When you sign up, you will select a tier from those listed above. Once the participant list has filled up, the participants will be randomly shuffled to decide a completely arbitrary seeding. The seeds will be shown on the bracket, as they are an integral part of this tournament.
In each individual match throughout the tournament, the first game in the best of 3 series will be played in the selected tier of the higher seeded player. The second game will be played in the selected tier of the lower seeded player. The third match will be played in a tier that is decided via the chart below:
The tier of the higher seeded player is on the left side, while the tier of the lower seeded player is on the top. By matching the two selections, the tier of the 3rd match in a set can be determined. In order to help ease confusion, I will list what the 3rd game of each match is at the start of every round.
Here is an example:
You will notice that Player 2 played in all 5 tiers in a matter of 2 rounds. This tournament will test your skills in all 5 of the common tiers of BW2.
As an additional note, there will be a limit to how many people may sign up for each tier. OU will be allowed 8 players, while Ubers, UU, RU and NU will be allowed 6 players each. If you apply for a tier and the tier is already full, you will be denied.

All standard Smogon rules and bans apply for each given tier
No flaming, trolling, spamming, etc. Don't post on this thread if you are not in the tournament, and don't post here if you have been eliminated unless you are confirming your loss.
All matches are Best of 3
This tournament will be a single elimination, 32 participant tournament.
All matches must be done via simulators (PO or PS).
The signup stage, as well as each round, will have a maximum time limit of 1 week. The rounds will end early if 32 participants are reached or all the matches in a round are completed.

In order to join this tournament, you must fill out the following form completely. This includes timezone and Serebii name. I copy and paste for my participant lists, so if the name isn't correct, I'm not going to approve it.
