So with Final Fantasy III potentially headed for PC, I find myself getting impatient. I'm considering just downloading it for my PSP. But if it gets a Steam release, I'd honestly prefer playing on PC since it's easier to do things like take screencaps. That and I haven't been playing anything on Steam lately so I could do to get back into that. I still haven't played III or V.
I bought Final Fantasy VII on PSN for $9.99 two years ago, I really enjoy Final Fantasy VII. I'm thinking about playing through it again at some point.
I've recently purchased it as well! I'm still on Disc 1, but so far it has held up IMO. It's pretty good.
After getting to Luca, I really need to ask
Are we supposed to like Tidus?
Like, he's really unlikable, and getting moreso as time goes on.

I've heard he's pretty unlikable.
He gets better as you progress. He has Daddy issues all the way through the end of the game, but it only happens a few times.
From what I've seen so far, all his dad did was mess with him a bit and disappear. I understand the second one, but the first one has no basis at all. Like, if that's really going to be part of Tidus' motivation for hating his dad, that's a terrible reason
After watching that gametrailers video about FF XV I can't stop seing the similarities it has with Hamlet/Romeo and Juliet. I know it's just speculation but Iv'e also noticed that it shares similarities with Shakespeare's other plays. For example, the whole coup d'etat reminds me alot of Julius Ceaser and Macbeth. Then theres the whole exiled prince thing which is very Hamlet and then Noctis' mysterious relationship with Stella. I just want this game to be out already.
It would be cool if they mix in story elements from different Shakespearean plays. As a matter of fact it would be awesome.
Mobsters are the new Shakespeares. Characters from different families fighting for the Crystal. Sending out goons to kill the heir of the Lucis family. Noctis and Stella can't be together because they're of rival heirs. It's The Godfather: Final Fantasy Edition. Now comes with less blood, more anime, and more of the same talking and exposition. Black emo clothing and spiky hair instead of black gangster suits and greased up slicked back hair.
It's not emo hair, it's Asian hair. Asians have the best hair.
But I said "emo clothing and spiky hair", not emo hair and spiky clothing
I've already gotten the FFX HD platinum, and I REALLY want to get the platinum in FFX-2 HD too, but that game's such a drag. Following a guide step by step for the 100% is taking a toll on me. I haven't even gotten to Chapter 3 yet because of it.Now that I have the FFX-2 HD platinum I am really happy. I got the perfect ending and finishing last mission in English was really exciting but difficult. So an X-3 really is around the corner even though SE says it is not. You just do not leave a cliffhanger ending and do not continue it. I am referring to the audio drama FFX: Will btw.
I got all the amount of closure I ever wanted for X-2 and it is an awesome game if you 100 percent it and then play Last mission.
FFX Will was a bit of a weird story. Chuami has such a mouth and she does not fit the FFX atmosphere.... Seriously why would you EVER judge Lulu by her breasts.
Anyway now I need to get the remaining trophies in FFX HD but I also missed some al bhed primers which will require another playthrough. Might as well stat max first....
PC or PS4? From what I've played during the PS4 beta in April, the game looked really good. Framerate was inconsistent though, sometimes FATE battles with more than a dozen other players were consistent 60FPS, other times even just normal fights dropped the FPS to what seemed like mid 20s.I must have read that wrong.
Anyway, still looking forward to it.
A quick question. Should I get a realm reborn? I mean 15$ a month isn't much but still, I'm not sure if its worth the purchase.
