Hi,

POTENTIAL SPOILERS

So, Final Fantasy XII is being released in North America on October 31st 2006. Has anyone pre-ordered it? It seems to be a little different from the other games when it comes to fighting, summons and so on, but it's based in the Tactics world. Basically I'm asking people to discuss if they ordered it, if they're looking forward to it, what they like about what they heard or what they don't.

The only thing I don't like about it is that it's based on the FF Tactics world, and sadly I hated that game.

Final Fantasy Tactics is one of the few good FF games.

Unfortunatly, FFXII doesnt look to be in that minority, and from what I've played, I consider it atrocious.

Well, I suppose that it just is not the type of game you like. Everyone has their own opinion, and that is yours.

Anyway, I am looking forward to this game. It is not been released in EU till February I think, but I will be sure to get it.

Which tactics? Because the GBA version was downright horrible. =/

The PS version was a gem though, I'm sad that I sold it. v_v

The only thing I have to pick with XII is the way the main character looks, Vaan looks too feminin and has a bad design overall.

I agree about Vaan, but Asian people like feminine guys I think. They just keep getting more feminine, Zidane, Tidus, Vaan and now finally the main character in FF13 IS a woman lol.

I'm sad that all of the old summons were replaced by zodiac summons.

FFT, of course. FFTA is horrible.

And there's also the horrible gameplay, and generic FF-style story.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH My 2 friends already have had the english version ( YES U HEARD ME, THE FULL ENGLISH VERSION I HAVE SEEN AND PLAYED IT) for 1 or 2 weeks. I dont know how the shop does it but it gets all these games before they are released lol, ofcourse i live in Saudi Arabia and all the PS2 Games are copy's, but they are just as good as original's. So try to bash me in saying 'ure lying theres no way u or ure friend could have had it cuz it hasnt been realeased in english or "North-American" Version."

Ohh and by the way, the new combat system takes some time to get used to since its "partially" in real-time, i dont know how to explain it, its kinda weird to me since i am used to the traditional turn-based combat system. The opening movie is cool though.

I'm already getting a Wii but it's pretty obvious that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be for the Wii.
