Ugh...I'm not one to complain...but I will this time. Seriously, why only three episodes again? This had better have an interesting twist in order for it not to be a rehash of the previous Grand Festival...if Drew one, then that would just be a whole lotta wasted effort. Although, we haven't seen Drew in a contest yet, so I suppose if he shows some new skills that would be cool.

The "final battle" bit seems to imply that she loses, because if she beat Drew, wouldn't she go on to face another opponent?
Looks like Drew might beat May again, and this time maybe even take home the Ribbon Cup since there should be nothing stopping him from winning the entire thing this time.

Maybe the 'final battle' implies the final battle May and Drew will ever have...I really hope it's that.
Then again, to be honest, I can't think of anything else that this festival will throw at us.

Shuu's a kickass coordinator and all, but I really wouldn't expect him to be going up against a top-class opponent like Robbie Refined and taking a win. At least, not at this point anyway. I guess they decided to shaft him this time around~
Either way, if this turns out to progress in the exact same way as the previous Festival, that just sucks. Hopefully they shake it up with a little more drama than usual this time around.

Lame. Huge build up of the Harley/May rivalry only to have it take a backseat to Shuu/May once again. Shuu didn't even DO anything decent this series, yet he pops up at the end to grab the glory?
Final Battle, to me, suggests just that. It's the Final Battle of the tournement, the Final Round and decider of the Grand Festival winner. They'll probably fit the other battles as short ones, or skip some rounds like in the Houen League.

Since Robert became a Top Coordinator last time, Drew might very well become a Top Coordinator in this festival.The D/P region then, would essentially be May trying to become a Top coordinator and taking the title away from Drew.
Shame that the set-up is pretty much exactly the same as last time, but the character interactions will be very different I hope, as well as the battles.
Robert won the Hoenn GF, maybe he retired.
If Drew does win this GF, he isn't going to deserve it. He wasn't shown in any contest.
Oh well, maybe by sheer luck May's Bulbasaur will evolve two times and still gets frozen away by Masquirains Ice Beam, thus making this a complete clone of the first GF.

But I think she wins, then loses to her next opponent. Since we all know character's don't change their dreams ('cept Max) so that means if she loses she'll have to go on to D/P doing contests o_o; That'll be odd and slightly annoying, they could of cut off May's contests here by letting her win and then make her do something new in D/P. But then again since Ash has never won a league there will be a huge uproar is May wins and sinec Ash hasn't, unless he wins some special BF won, but we're use to Ash going round fighting gyms but first contests where fresh and fun, they still are. But I can't see D/P producing some overly awesome new contests ideas.
However if May wins it wil show the writers aren't afraid to let our heroes win their dream tournaments.

I predict that we shall be able to blame May's defeat on Drew's *MAGICAL MYSTERY POKEMON*. It shall be a double battle, duh. And Flygon shall be the other Pokemon, because Flygon needs to own Squirtle properly. The few time Drew has appeared, he's been disarmingly smug, as if he KNOWS he'll win. Probably because his *MAGICAL MYSTERY POKEMON* is so god-like, most opponents will yield instantly.
