I really love how in this battle there were no jobbers on both sides honestly
Every mon of every team contributed immensely till the end
Sirfetch'd feels so poignant this battle without even getting a W, thanks to it's knight arc. I really love it's evolution arc sm, showing not every mon needs a long drawn out period for an evolution while still being poetic and fulfilling. My only issues with the duck was it losing against Bea and the standard JN mons needed more organic screentime
It also harkens back to Leon crediting the victory to Inteleon and talking about how every mon is essential to contribute to a full battle
Lucario's aura was so cool this episode, they really make this a culmination for all the JN mons, everyone gets to show off all their moves and abilities in a cool way. It's kind of cool how paralysis is a weakness to break Lucario's zen mode and endurance and make it go down easier than it would normally, I like they make it fallible while still being Ash's second strongest mon feats wise.
Dragonite prevented a Leon vs Diantha outcome for Ash lol. I love to headcanon Leon got lucky during Diantha's battle (he says as much) with being able to pull of Dragapult's Dragon tail combo successfully enough to weaken all of Diantha's pokemon for Rillaboom to take down, and that any other day he would have a harder time against Diantha. Helps explain that god awful battle and keep Diantha's reputation intact and Leon's powerscaling not get too crazy
