When you find it hard to catch a rare pokemon (example:Skarmory,The 3 Regis) use Whirlpool/Sand Tomb/FireSpin on it. While it's trapped,chuck Balls and you might be able to catch it easily. (That's what I think) If not, then use the same Ball in a row. Then switch out the Balls you are throwing (example Regirock 1-Ultra 2-Ultra 3 -Ultra 4-Great ) The Pkmn wont notice this and you will find it more easier to catch it.

I usaually use a weaker pokemon to lower health then I trap it and throw my Pokeball. It works.

I'm so sorry but I find other ways easier. The Regis and Skarmory were no sweat to catch. It takes less than 7 turns for me and I use normal Pokeballs on most Pokemon even Rayquaza. I still have to get the right natures though so it takes a lot of on and offs.

Regis and Skar are easy to catch. Now the other legendaries are hard. I caught Regircok with 1 ultra ball and Registeel with a Pokeball.

Oddly, Qwilfish took me like 20 ultra balls to catch in Firered when it was at level 17. XD

For the Lati@s i would consider getting something with Mean Look... if you've got FR/LG, you could use Umbreon's mean look baton passed to a false swiper... i think Breelom learns both false swipe and spore... that would make stuff REALLY easy...

It will always work for me to throw a pokeball right on the first turn...i nearly evertime get them=)
if not i use ice attack to freaz uuber pokms
Swalot is good foe cathin...the comp won´t attack him so much just use stats lowerin attacks

the latis are pretty hard to catch, expecially when you have no shadow tag or mean look.

Your telling me. My Golbat With Mean Look failed miserably even with Mean Look. It evolved after that (not fainting Latias) and it still failed! So I ended up accidently sending out my Wynut lv. 5 (gulp) and then caught Latias.
What I'm trying to say is, there is no good way to capture, keep, the Latis. Its just based on luck. Luck, luck, luck. Just luck. So whatever you say, it probably will work, but only because of luck.

either use a crobat/golbat around lvl 50 with mean look or use a wobbafet and just throw balls like mad

Get a wobby under level forty and put it first then use a repel, super repel, etc. and then save the game. then reset it and then walk around in the grass for a while and if lati@s doesnt appear reset again until it appears and catch it. easy as pie

Catching pokemons is really easy, only if you give it a status condition [sleep or paralyze]. But this doesn't work for Lati@s. I catch them with Premier Balls usually but I think it is better to use MasterBall on it because if you have luck to catch Lati@s with another kind of ball, it can be a nature that isn't good for it so yuo have to start again, so, use Master Ball and check what nature it has, good nature, keep it, bad nature, reset and go hunting again until you get it with a good nature. I hope you know what I mean...

Safari Zone pokemon are too hard to get. I've gotten them all, but Stantler. Any ideas on how to find it faster/catch it?

only real suggestion i can give you is that it's a lot easier if you bring something that learns sweet scent in. that way, you don't have to keep running around, and you don't run out of steps.
