Fire Emblem: Critical Hits

For those who play Nintendo/Intelligent System's "Fire Emblem," who do you think has the best and worst critical hit animations in the series, and why?

I like Ike's critical as a Lord in Path of Radiance. There's just something likeable about seeing you character charge at the enemy jump straight up offscreen while slashing, then land facing the other direction as your foe inevitably falls to the ground, dead. Also, since they are pretty similar, Stephan the Swordmaster's, as well.

For the worst, it has to be the beast tribe laguz, also in POR. All that happens is the camera zooms in, you hear a roar(mouth doesn't even move), then they do a normal attack.

First of all, this should be in the Nintendo discussion. Second, my favorite would have to be the assassin's critical hit on Sacred Stones, nothing beats a one hit KO.

My least favorite would have to be a fighter's critical hit, also on Sacred Stones. I don't really like moving your arm around like an idiot too much.

Octillery

You're cool.
I personally like the critical for Swordmasters on FE8. So you turn half invisible, go into five poses and slash the hell out of your opponent while invisible? Ownage.

And other than that, I also like it when my Rolf activates Deadeye.

I like the critical hit animation of a Hero in Blazing Sword the best.
I also like Eliwood's Lord critical animation.

Who can say?
I like Paladins on the GBA, they just charge on the spot! Swordmasters are also cool.
I agree that Fighters look silly as they spin.

Well... Bartre is an idiot.

My favourites are the Swordmasters from FE6 to FE8, three of Ike's (both as a Lord, the finishing one for Ranger), Lyn's promoted and Sol Katti criticals, all of Eliwood's, Hector's Armads critical, all of Roy's and Sages from FE6 onwards.

Yeesh, that's a lot. Anyway, the only one I hate that comes to mind right now is Hector's unpromoted. That, and all that come from an enemy, especially if it's from something like a Draco Zombie (not nice).

My favorite criticals are:

Critical Ayra (Fire Emblem 4) with Shooting Star
Critical Jamuka (also Fire Emblem 4)
Female Sage FE7 Critical (Nino)

I'd forgotten about that Swordmaster one in SS. Yeah, that is one of mine too, because, as Octillery said, that is ownage.

Roy w/ Sealed Sword from FE 6-it's all fiery an powerful-looking.

Least favorite is the thieves from the GBA titles-I don't find merely reversing the sprite a few times to be terribly impressive.
