Fire Emblem Help

In Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword, when a character dies, and you resume chapter, and it automatically goes to the enemy's turn, where the enemy delivers the final blow to your character, can you keep resuming chpter in the hopes that the enemy will miss your character?

Whew that was a mouthful. I just hope it all makes sense.

Nope, theyll always die. Sucks, I know =\ Thats what makes Fire Emblem really annoying sometimes >.<

Youll have to start the whole chapter over if you want to keep the unit alive.

Once the battle begins, there is no other way to save your character than starting over the chapter. It may suck, but that is the beauty of Fire Emblem. No Waters of Live, no Phoenix Downs, just you feeling bad because you saved after a character died and now you can't bring him back.
