I'm heading into EB games sometime soon, maybe today. Both look good, both are getting similar ratings.

THAW is higher on my list, since it has GTA style stuff (finally without crime or using it as a gimmick in a super hero game!) and I love to explore. Street style skating is my preferred style, and this game looks like it has lots.

Fire Emblem looks great too though. I've never owned a Fire Emblem game and this looks like a good place to start.

NOTE: This only affects which I get first. The other one I will get in November or maybe for Christmas. If you love them both and can't decide which you would get first, vote for 'em both!

I wouldn't bother with Tony Hawk's, although this one does look VERY awesome, there's a superior version coming out on the 360 very soon, so it seems like a waste. (unless you don't plan on getting a 360).

And I have an extreme disliking of Fire Emblem.. but never heard anything about the new one, so I won't bother giving my opinion on that game.

Better graphics =/= better game. You getting it for the 360? If that's true, just vote for it. I stick with Nintendo consoles.

Well, the reason for the 360 version being superior, is mainly that it's on a much more powerful system. Better graphics, faster loading, downloadable content, streaming music, etc. They also said that the 360 version would have an extra feature, but I don't believe they've announced what it is yet.

RPGs tend to be more fun to play as then sports ut that's just me. Power isn't everything. It's innovation and originality that makes something good and unique! Anyway Fire Emblem! Great RPG series I've played.

Aww... Crap.
Hm..If I was you, I'd get one of the GBA FE games before I just spent $50 on the GC version...

THAW is more enjoyable. It has free-roam. So buy Fire Emblem if its $20 and get THAW this winter. :)

I own Fire Elblem Path of Radiance. It is a great RPG, the graphic's aren't that great (but really I don't care). I've played Tony Hawk games, they are mostly all the same, but this one appearently has more tricks added in this game.

the thing is in Frie Emblem if one of your guy's die, they are gone, FOREVER! This gets really annoying, and you might just let them die for the sake of progress.

But itf you loved advance wars, fire emblem is for you.

Well since I have no inteest in both I don't know. I haven't heard to many reviews about THAW. Although on FE I heard it does get boring and that there is a whole lot of text written things to read and that it takes a while until the fun action starts but, that once you get through the first long dull part it's retty fun. So it depends on what game you're looking for a good, long, slowpaced RPG or a quick, fun, action ready game. Actually now that I think about it I read that once Wi FI has been setup that THAW will support WiFi. Although I think Mario Kart DS would be a better Wi Fi game but, if you are a Tony hawk fan go with that. Keep in mind I have only played 2 Tony Hawk games on the PS2 and no FE games.

Going for THAW.

I'm loving Fire Emblem as of this moment. It's the Gamecube's Ogre Battle 64, one of my favorite games in the history of games. Granted, no game can ever give me as much fun as that one did, but this one is pretty spectacular aswell. :D

In short, if you like RPG's or Strategy games, or a game with a plot, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is the way to go.

The GCN version has around 60 hours of gameplay though. The GBA games probably don't have that combined.

I got THAW yesterday, and the free roaming is kind of dull if you ask me. Tons of places to go and nothing to do. I think the Classic mode, which is THPS style Career Mode, has nothing but classic levels, but those have more to do than the regular ones.

So...did you like yoru choice?

woah, geez, it's been 2 months since someone posted here but anyways. I say FE first though you must buy the first two to understand it, trust me (I got the 2nd one before the 1st, the 2nd is better.)

It's been two months for a reason...

And I'm pretty sure that he bought TH:AW, didn't like it, got FE:poR, liked that a lot more. If I'm wrong, then I'm horrible.
