Fire red pokemon raising help.

Dont make fun of me but I Got a fire red game for christmas and I was Happy but my friends told me in order to get the national dex I hade to beat the
elite4 and catch 50 pokemon but I know catch all the pokemon you see and evo them but It all seems so hard do I only train only six pokemon or train all the pokemon or only train the best ones but if you only train six pokemon how can you get 50 pokemon are they all in the wild can someone help me please.
I have 21 pokemon so far and I have two gym badges.

You just go along on your own pace until you have 8 badges, then you can start collecting the pokémon, and maybe even train them with the versus seeker (you get it in the pokécenter of Vermillion City).
Then when you have 60 pokémon and you've trained enough, you can go beat the elite 4, en afterwards you'll get the national dex.

If you have 2 badges and already 21 pokemon, it should be easy.
What I do is catch one of every weak pokemon that I see (as in one pigdey, one oddish, and so on) and by the time you're done w/ the E4, getting their evolutions and the needed amount of dex entries should be a breeze.

Catch every pokemon you don't have, evo or not, catch the pokemon that require stone use and just evolve them from buying the evolution stones in Celadon City

just catch 50 weak pokemon. but i think you need 60 for the national dex

In my case It was easy, cause I always catch every Pokémon I see, but you need 60, not 50. But try catching the pokemon you like, evolve them, train them and then just catch some pokemon to reach 60.

I wasn't even trying to get 60 pokémon as I had no idea that this was required to get the national dex. This went well though, and I got the national dex after the E4 by just catching the pokémon that I didn't have and happened to run into while training my team.

I suggest you worry less about getting that national dex and concentrate on training your pokémon and win badges.

who make fun of you i did the same thing but i have both games and you don't all ways train them i have 45 now and 4 badgejust go on pokemaster95 just do what your rival say 's "there every were living in the grass

all i did was try to catch 10 pokemon before every badgeso at the end ull have at least 60 pokemon

Well Anyways, What I did was catch and evolve the first 60 pokemon I didn't have

when you get all 8 badges,strart catching the pokemon you havent caught.
what i did was get the exp. share(given by you by capturing at least 50 pokemon)then i went to cinnibar town and surfed up to the trainers and train my pokemon there

Thank you for your advise I made it to the elite4 and
I caught 67 pokemon already.
