[Bobo]

i borrowed firered from a friend and this is the team i have. i'd mostly prefer some ideas on what items to equip, and moveset ideas for pokemon with an * beside them

for kingler i need to replace stomp with a move that runs off attack and has at least 10 pp.

for primeape i need to replace karate chop with a fighting type move slightly more powerful and has at least 15 pp. rock smash needs to be replaced with a move that will harm ghost types.

whats wrong with kingler? it has incredible attack and defense stats. it's specials suck, but you just have to be careful with it.

the main problem with your suggestion, aragornbird, is that i don't have the ability to teach those moves to most of my pokemon. i'll replace stomp with flail, and i'll try to get primeape rockslide but that's about as much as i can do and i'll get spikes back if i can get enough mushrooms. honestly, i don't have the patience to breed them and raise them all to lv 60 again.

Yes you do, it's called "Use TMs and Move Tutors".

He could have used the TM already and has no access to another one, used a Tutor already and has no access to another one, or has no access to a tutor like Thunderpunch.

you could tell that i only have 1 aerial ace since it's on my skarmory. and either way, you want me to get 2 aerial aces.

i guess i'll get some mushrooms and get rock tomb back on primeape and flail on kingler, but why crabhammer? surf is more powerful, has more pp, has better accuracy, and is more convenient since i'm in cerulean cave a lot.

Surf is fine, but in battle, Crabhammer can give you an edge with a Critical hit. Not like Kingler will use Water attacks much with its horrible Special Attack,

okay revised my team. thes pokemon are currently in training. they are larvitar, heracross, and shellder. their levels are 16 16 and 22 respectively.

??? means i'm not sure and i'm open to suggestions. i'm deciding wether or not i should put earthquake on heracross and give tyranitar something else. i'd like to give it aerial ace, but thats already used.
