first attempt

these are my first attempts at revamps:

how are they?

they are okay for a first attempt but try to colour the outlines and don't keep them only black and for ho-oh don't keep the lightest shade in the same line of pixels as done in the original it looks more like a recolour in your method

I think they are pretty good, but I am not that good at revamps.

Well you just recolored them, if you do your own shading they look a lot better. But they are good for your first try.

They're just recolours really. I suggest reading a tutorial on revamping and how to shade and change the outlines etc.

All you seemed to do was recolor them. You need to reshade them as well. ^^

Aerodactyl is just a recolor, but the Ho-oh is pretty good. Don't be afraid to change the outlines of shades, especially when you got rid of the dithering on the back/wing. Another tip - don't use white as the lightest shade of a color.

the outlines still too dark, try adding on another light shade.
The actual shading is also very unedited. You have to make the shading custom, you cant just get rid of the dithering.

ok made some changes and I attempted another one:

Ho-oh: lightened outline and changed outline colors.

On Rapidash, you need to edit shading more and take away the excess black by the legs and neck. Youur revamps are better than my first try!
