First Pokemon

If you had a choice to be given a pokemon who would you pick? Would you begin with a pokemon from Kanto, Johto, or Hoenn?

If i had a choice I would love to start with a pokemon from Kanto. I would choose Horsea as my starter. My favorite pokemon is kingdra so i would like to start with that as my first pokemon, so i can bond with it from the start.

I would start out with a Houndour, and I think that's Jhoto.

Johto, because it had the best Pokemon imo. Even though Chansey's my favorite Pokemon, I wouldn't want to start with it because it's so hard to train. I'd probably want to start with Chikorita or Clefairy since they both evolve into decent Pokemon and are fairly easy to raise.

I picked Hoenn, but I won't really know the answer until Shinou comes out. But I picked Hoenn because, design-wise, the pokemon are superior to their predecessors.

I would have picked Shinou, since Lucario is there, but since there isn't any choice for Shinou, then Johto it is. For "Typhlosion Reasons".

Well, I’d start out in Johto and grab myself a Cyndaquil (destined to be a Quilava for life... Thank god for everstones ) before jumping ship to Hoenn since pretty much the rest of my favorite Pokémon are over there.

Johto. So I can start with Chikorita or Oddish, and visit Whitney eventually. And also settle down in Goldenrod eventually.

If I were to have a regular ol' starter, I'd pick Hoenn or Johto for Torchic or Chikorita. I love Blaziken for its design and type combo, and Meganium is my favorite fully evolved starter from my favorite type.

If I could pick any Pokemon, Kanto. Yayyy Voltorb! It evolves into my FAVORITE Pokemon (well duh), and even though it's Electric, it wouldn't be useless against the first gym since it learns Sonicboom.

If it was for Kanto, then either Vulpix or Growlithe. Houndour or Chinchou for Johto. I can't decide. :s
