First post!! + Questions :P

Hell im new on these boards and I must say i really like the site + forum but I have some questions I know I should probably make several threads but that seemed pointless and they all sort of fit in this forum so, here goes

1) Whats is XD, I saw someone referring to it in order to get a rare pokémon, somekind of cheating device or?

2) Im considering buying emerald, but does anyone have a list or an url to a list with all emerald Uncatchables, I currently have sapphire and then i would know if its any use to catch them on sapphire so I can trade

3) My last question is about EV's, after reading quite alot about them Im beginning to understand, but does it also mean for example if you battle wrong pokémon youll get EV's in places you don't want? for example, you want HP but you defeat a crobat...

1) XD is a Pokemon game for Gamecube. Possibly the people were referring to Shadow Lugia...?

3) That's true. You'd better not defeat a Crobat for HP EV's then.

Well- you can't get rid of them, so just battle what you want. It did say on the site pokemon you could battle to get EV's or just go to the EV pokedex thing

I can answer your first question. XD is the shortened name for the GameCube title, Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness.

and 6 of those I can get on sapphire, one im not sure of

Yoi should get emerald. It's fun and with the Frontier and all... yeah, until Dungeon comes out it's probably the best.

1. xd is a gamecube game, also, it's a smiley face of someone laughing really hard.
2. the links been posted. Emerald has almost all the pokemon though
3. there are ev stickies if you want more specific answers and the main site's pokedex has information on how many ev's each pokemon give you when battling/defeating them.

Hey, now that you mention it, that's right. Between Emerald and Sapphire, you can get every Hoenn Pokemon bar Zangoose.
