Fizz's Badly Named Sprite Thread

[Fizz]

Well, I've got quite a few lying around, and figured it was high time to post my sprites here! So, here they are:

Mixes:

Corphitty (Corphish and Skitty, colored like Azumarill)

Trainers:

Flamantus, a fire-type gym leader I made for an RPG I used to play.

Craig, same as above only water-type.

Phyll, another leader, this time grass-type.

Nirvana, a ghost-type gym leader.

This was a trainer I made for one of my friends, based off of Bonsly.

One of my older sprites, a shiny Umbreon/trainer mix.

The Latios-themed superhero, Latios Boy! One of my older sprites with some better shading.

Recolors:

Sevichu; it's not really a mix, so I put it here.

Invert Recolors (Original Idea!):

An original idea of mine, instead of just inverting sprites, actually recolor them so they have new colors but keep their old shading. These are pretty simple to make, so I'll probly put some more up soon.

Maps:

The Lapis Region, my own fake region. It sits just to the east of Hoenn.

Other:

A Blue Chuchu from Zelda. Yes, it's supposed to look weird.

Do you do trainers based of Pokemon? If so, can you make me a mix of Manyula and just any random boy trainer? (yeah! first post!)

Well, I might do requests at some point, but I'm not really good at getting them done in time for the person to be happy. So until I can get a lot of free time (when school's out, most likely) to work on them, I'm not gonna take requests, sorry.

oh, sorry. Didn't realize you didn't do requests till read the where this thread was and it was from fan sprites. Anyway, those are very good! I especially like Corphitty!

Those are actually really good. I personally like the Suicune Color Invert. That would make a great Shiny Pokémon.

I liked the Skitty/Corphish mix, it looks very cute. And the other stuffs are also very nice.

Yeah, I think Suicune's one of the best ones to invert. It could probably pass off as a poorly done Grass re-element, too, with its colors. Anyway, I updated my first post with another invert, Chimecho.

I made Corphitty for a contest once (it got a C- when I submitted it), so I redid some of the shading and tweaked its body a little to what you see today.

Your sprites are pretty good. Try to cut more pieces from trainers to make custom poses.

Wai~! Great job, Fizz; The gym leaders look like they'd be perfect for their line of work! Great variations on the pkmn, too!

Wow! I didn't know people would like them so much. Anyway, I added everyone's favorite superhero, Latios Boy, to the trainers.

As for custom poses, I'm better at editing the clothing than the trainers themselves. I'll probably add one of Lapis's gym leaders in a while, and she has a little custom posing.

Well most of them are pretty good but the Sevichu isn't too good and the chime invert recoulour isn't too good either but I really like the Corphitty its a really good mix

latios boy should be called Latios Lad. alliteration in superhero names makes them easier to remember: Wonder Woman for example

I don't really have anything to update with right now, but I'll make some more sprites soon! I also might make a Request thread, but like I said earlier, I suck at deadlines...

Btw, the inverts usually look weird because of the way the colors are once inverted. I try to make IC's out of Pokémon that have brighter inverted colors, which is why Suicune came out so well, but Chimecho didn't.
