Welcome to a totally new Face-Off sensation-
FLASHBACK- HISTORY OF FORUM 117!
~An arena where the past meets a bright future~
117 LIVE! COMPATIBLE!
Hello and welcome to the first Face-Off of possibly many more to come like it. Flashback will be a Face-Off based around the feats and memories of the users of Forum 117. How this is linked to the future as it is the first Face-Off to be 117 LIVE Compatible. To learn more about 117 LIVE! Please check its main thread.
This Face-Off will not be governed by style or type, as they will be set at the beginning of each round. At the beginning of each round, a story-teller will be set, there are two types of story-teller:
-Standard: Can be switched out.
-Guest Teller: Cannot be switched out.
Now I bet you're wondering how you switch out a standard story teller, you have to spend your hard earned 117L!+ points. It starts at FIVE(5) pts to buy the talking stick. It increases by three(3) points everytime it gets used. When you buy the talking stick, you can either:
I- Set yourself as the Storyteller
II- Set someone else as the story teller.
EXAMPLE 1:
Talking Stick- 5PTS

I buy the Talking Stick SHIS-SHAA! Cause I'm such a good speaker, I'm the new Teller!
Talking Stick is now 8PTS

I buy the Talking Stick. I think Volty will be a better Teller than you Kikas.
Talking Stick is now 11PTS.

The storyteller envokes effects by putting up a small clipit of thier history of the forum, for example:

SHIS-SHAA began in Illegible's KiSS and Experiment as a replacement for my Fave Pokemon, Charizard (And also as a replacement for Link Cable), it really took off in Chorus as an alliance between myself and Illegible.
Now based off the history the teller provided, he will decide the effects it will have on the face-off:

A user cannot use a negative command on Charizard if a positive command is used onTogetic in the same post, or vice versa.
Here are some rules and guidelines:
-An effect cannot give out 117L!+ Points or create an achievement.
-An effect cannot add or remove Pokemon from the Face-Off.
-An effect may add a new command or remove an existing one, provided there is always an available command.
-An effect may not alter the heal/hurt stream in a largely disproportionate manner (I.E a heal point may not be worth 3:1 to a hurt point).
-An effect may not change the voting style.
-An effect may replacate a move/weather/status effect from the actual Pokemon games, EXCLUDING Double Team/Sand Attack.
-An effect may not bar users from buying the stick.
-This section may be updated from time to time.

Rules/ Expectaitons of the Face-Off:
-All Serebii Rules Apply.
-This Face-Off complies with all 117L!+ rules.
-Achievements will be handed out at the end of each page.
-Tallyists may not hand out achievements.
-There are no official talliers.
-There must be a tally at the top of every page.
-Please don’t try to bugger out of tallying when you have been asked to.
Punishments
Depending on the offense, the punishment system will vary.
-Post/Tally Violation
Posting too often or infracting Tally rules will have this set-up:
1st Offense: Vote will be discounted, will be warned
2nd Offense: Vote will be discounted, will be warned, again.
3rd Offense: Will be asked to stop posting here for a day (24 Hours)
4th Offense: Will be asked to stop posting for a week.
5th Offense: Will be asked to discontinue posting in this face off
NO EXCEPTIONS
Infraction of SPPf rules
Appropriate punishment will be taken in accordance to severity of infraction.
