Start all over again. Literally.
But not with the whole Ash moving into a new town and starting over oh no. I mean new characters (and no I do not mean Ash meeting new characters either). However what I do really mean is that they should literally start another Pokemon cycle all over again. No team rocket, No Misty, no Brock and-wait for it-No Ash & Pikachu. Yes I said it NO ASH AND PIKACHU! I've been thinking about it and maybe it would be a good idea if they were start all over again with a new character with his pokemon partner and new companions and a new story and with new villains (E.G Michael From Gale of Darkness & his Eevee & rui from Colosseum and Cipher as the villanous organization with the whole shadow pokemon theme) and the hero could not only worry to get his badges but to rid the world of cipher and rescue shadow pokemon
What do you think of this??

You say you want them to start anew with new characters.... yet you say.... wait-for-it Michael from XD Gale of Darkness or the villianous team Cipher should appear..... there aren't new characters, this thread phails.

Why's it insane?? Bringing shadow Pokemon to the series could open a door to more and new ideas!! It wouldn't be just "Ash travels to get his badge and meets friends on the way"

1. Ash is a popular and well known character that is recognizeable and so therefore good for marketing merchandise etc. worldwide.
2. Why would they even consider bringing in characters from a spin-off that is now 2 generations old when they have yet to do so currently (3 generations once we hit Gen VI which is when you are proposing this for)?

I think it'd be a swell idea if you'd read the list of banned topics before posting in this section next time. Then you'd know that topics like this are not allowed. This series literally just started so it will be several years before we can even rationally speculate what they will be doing " next time ". Speculation about what will happen " next time " is banned until it is 100% confirmed that there will be a " next time ".

In the meantime please try to enjoy Best Wishes because 98% of the characters that you mentioned did not actually make it into the Isshu/Unova Region or had their personalities drastically changed so they are more " pleasing ".

Heres an idea a new series based on going to school to learn about pokemon! Or maybe even pokemon battles on motorcycles! Oh wait Yugioh called and want there series back! In all honestly if they were going to change it they would of by now. Should they? Some fans say yes some say no.

(although on the bright side, this reminded me to update the banned topics sticky since it's outdated, what with all the "we don't know about Gen 5 yet!!!" stuff and all)
