These words echoed through the thunder god’s head as he sat at the top of a steep mountainside over looking a small city. The purple cloud-like thing on his back waved about weightlessly as a gentle breeze blew by him. ‘Humans . . ,’ he muttered to himself. ‘They never learn, even after all the suffering they've been put through!’
He sighed and closed his eyes and again thought over what had happened between him and Celebii earlier that day.
He lay napping in the sun on the mountainside near the Burned Tower. He awoke from a flash of bright green light, and before him was the floating figure of a green alien-like creature. He then sat up and bowed slightly before speaking.
‘Celebii, w-what has brought you to this part of Jhoto?’ he asked and then noticed the look of concern on her small face. ‘Is something the matter?’
She nodded. ‘Yes, Raikou, something has gone very wrong.’
He cocked his head and simply said. ‘What do you mean? Has something happened to Ho-Oh?’
She shook her head and replied. ‘It’s the humans. They must be punished . . .again.’ She bowed her head and continued on. ‘I don’t want such a thing to happen again, Raikou. It was bad enough to watch it the first time, but I can’t stand to do so a second time.’
‘You do have a point, but I still don’t understand. Why must they be punished?’
‘Because, Raikou, too many of them have caused harm to the Pokemon and their habitats, and so they must be punished,’ she said in almost a whisper as tears began to form in her large blue eyes.
Raikou shifted his weight as if uncomfortable and continued the conversation. ‘So how were the humans harming us now?’
She whipped a tear away and looked over at him. ‘Do you really want to know?’ she asked.
He just nodded.
She sighed. ‘Ok. What they do is capture them and they either make them do evil chores or turn them evil by closing the door to their heart. I think they’ve stopped doing that though, but they still must be punished.’
‘For such cruelty they should be punished!’ he said as he stood up.
‘Wait!’ she said. ‘There’s still one more thing that I need to tell you.’ She took a deep breath and recited the prophecy word for word.
He allowed time for the words to register in his mind, and then left. Celebii, however, stayed where she was and looked down at the innocent people roaming the streets of the town. ~They don’t suspect a thing. ~ she though.. ~If only I could tell them what was going to happen, and then maybe one of them could help prevent this. I know there’s someone, somewhere that can stop this. ~
Raikou watched as some kids played with their Pokemon near a small house and thought, ~Odd. Humans don’t seem like they’d be able to cause any damage to the Pokemon world or the creatures living in it yet they can . . .~
A large lion-like Pokemon walked over to Raikou and spoke. ‘Are you thinking about what Celebii told you?’
Raikou looked startled for a moment but then nodded and said, ‘I don’t understand. Why do people do such things? You wouldn’t happen to know would you Entei?’
The god of fire looked up at the sky and sighed. ‘You’d think that wouldn’t you, but sadly I don’t know the answer to your question. If you really want to know ask Ho-Oh. He holds the answers to many questions such as that one.’
It was quiet for a while as Raikou thought of what he should say, and finally he spoke. ‘Yes, but I’d think that Ho-Oh would be busy at a time like this. I mean don’t we still have to figure out a time and day?’
Entei shook his head. ‘No we don’t,’ he said simply. ‘We’re using the same day that was used two million years ago.’
Raikou just stared at him as if one of the worst crimes possible had been committed. He then said, ‘Why then?’
Entei just looked over at him as if he should know, and then walked away saying he was going to go see Suicune.
Raikou sighed and went back to watching the city, or to be more specific a small girl in the city. He shook his head because he didn’t want to kill innocent people along with the evil. He’d rather save the innocent and let the evildoers die, or at least save that little girl because he knew her. ‘Karra,’ he said in a small voice and walked away head hung low.
The little girl Raikou had been watching was indeed named Karra, and she had been watching him too. Even though she was only six she could tell that something was wrong because the large fire lion had come to the mountaintop, too. She was still staring at the spot where the thunder god had been only a few minutes ago. “Wonder what’s wrong,” she mumbled to herself.
She stood and took one last glance at the mountaintop as if he’d come back, but nobody was there still. She sighed and went inside her green hair, which had been tied up into a ponytail, bobbing behind her.
She’d learn what was wrong soon enough though, and so would some others. Not at any point in time had these chosen kids met, but then again they would never have met if the world didn’t need them . . .
So how was it? I don’t think it’s all that great but I’m probably gonna be proven wrong again so . . .yeah. Now it’s whiteabsol’s turn! Hope you like her chapter once it’s posted!

Forgotten
Prolog
Two millennia ago the Earth flooded
Pokemon and humans alike perished
For their own selfish deeds
Yet, the legendaries did not . . .
Hearts beating still they created life once again
Although ignorant once more
Man lived side by side with the Pokemon
One helped the other
And they lived on until today . . .
The price must again be paid
The world must again be flooded by the legendaries’ powers
Humans again will die
And the Pokemon along with them
The legendaries again will live
And they again will create life
Once more the humans shall be ignorant
And again they will learn to work together with Pokemon
Pure or dark of heart it does not matter
Parish they will for the price must be paid
Unless humans who are pure, brave,
And most of all caring step up
And plead for forgiveness
Maybe then the Earth’s life can be saved
From the power of the almighty legendaries
Or maybe they will be the first to die . . .
