Sorry to double post, but I got Part IV done. ^^;

~~~~~Part IV~~~~~
3:30 PM
The doorbell rang. Again. That thing’s going haywire and I’m gonna fix it. I thought, laying on the couch. The fire was still crackling in the fireplace, giving off an orange glow. May was resting in my arms, reading a magazine about coordinating.
Kristell had dragged Drew off somewhere, and I’m pretty sure I didn’t want to know where. Salamence was napping in front of the fireplace, which made my day better. The less trouble he causes, the better.
Stacee was now scribbling song lyrics on a notepad, often pausing and re-reading her work. Occasionally she’d cross out a line or two, and fix them.
Chelsea was arranging pictures in a photo album. The pictures were those of us, the Four Stalkers on our past adventures, including some various ones of Ash and Misty. Chelsea was also humming something under her breath, and I caught words like, “Satoshi” and “handsome”.
Zach had taken the liberty of answering the door. “Oh, hey Ash.”
“Who are you? How do you know my name?” That was Ash alright. Not exactly the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree, it was a wonder how Mr. Ketchum was able to confess towards Misty, Cerulean Gym Leader.
I peeked into the hallway. Zach was mimicking Ash’s movements. Ash raised his right arm. Zach raised his left. Ash blinks. Zach blinks. And so on.
Of course, Misty wasn’t liking this. With red-orange hair that reflected her temper, she wasn’t someone who tolerated Ash’s intelligence. Before I could blink, Ash was lying on the floor at Zach’s feet. “Ouch...”
“Stop acting like a bird, Ash! We were invited here for a reason!” she said, frustrated.
I sweatdropped. “Yeah, to celebrate Christmas. So stop with the violence!”
“Sorry.” said Misty. “I can’t help it if Ash acts like this...”
I suddenly remembered the song Chelsea was signing, and before I could warn Ash, he was tackled by Chelsea.
“You’re here!” Chelsea had (apparently) shot downstairs as soon as she heard Ash was here.
Misty was not trilled. “What do you think you’re doing?!”
May looked up from her magazine. “What’s all the yelling?” Then she adjusted herself so she could see into the hallway.
I was smashed up against the couch arm. “Uh... May? I’m stuck.”
“Sorry!”
“Don’t fret!” said Chelsea. “I helped get you and Ash together, remember?” Chelsea: One. Misty: Zero.
“Yay! Misty, Ash, you’re here!” It was Kristell. She was very excited now that Drew, Ash and Misty where here. “Now we can celebrate Christmas!”
A loud rumbling interrupted Kristell’s rant. Everyone looked at Ash. He sweatdropped. “Uh... what’s for lunch?”
----------
4:15 PM
I stacked all the plates up and carried them into the kitchen. “Only Ash can eat an entire bag of potato chips on his own...” I sighed. “Dinner tomorrow will be chaos...”
When I walked back into the dining room (careful not to get stuck under the mistletoe again), everyone was talking. Misty and May were comparing current events, Zach and Ash were (once again) playing the Mirror Game, and Chelsea and Kristell were chatting it up with Ash and Drew. Stacee just kept to herself.
“Now that we’re all full,” I said. “We have a few hours to burn before bed...”
Salamence yawned and finished my sentence. (“So we need to find something to do before then.”)
I looked outside at the fallen snow. “Who’s up for some football?”
----------
7:57 PM
I sat on the couch, out of breath. May slumped next to me, panting. The game was myself, May, Zach and Kristell versus Stacee, Drew, Ash and Misty. Chelsea didn’t feel like playing, so she was our referee. The game ended at about 35 to 28.
“Well, we tried.” I said weakly.
“Yeah...” added Kristell.
“I still think you let us win on purpose.” said Stacee.
“Nah...” I said. “Now, if you excuse me... I need to...” I fell asleep.
----------
10:01 PM
When I woke up, everyone was in their pajamas and ready for bed. I quickly (and sleepily) changed into my Mario Bros. T-shirt and camo pants. “How long was I out?” I asked, yawning.
“A few hours,” said May, striding over and planting a kiss on my cheek.
“Yeah, that game musta taken a lot outta ya!” said Ash, grabbing a random present from under the tree and shaking it, trying to determine its contents.
I nodded. “Well, since we’re all here... why don’t we just open one gift each?”
“Yay! Presents!” cheered Kristell and Chelsea. Drew and Zach looked at each other and sighed.
Misty snatched the gift from Ash and looked at the tag. “Stacee, this is yours.”
“It’s from... Josh?” Josh was an old friend of Stacee’s back in Australia. She carefully opened the package. “Oh, wow...” Stacee held up a signed picture of Josh. “This is going up on my wall...” She spoke with the same air in her voice as Salamence often did towards his wife, Altra.
“Moving on!” I said, picking up another gift. “Salamence!”
The dragon ripped the paper off. (“Cool!”) It was a bone squeaky toy. (“Thanks!”) And he proceeded to play with it as the gift giving continued.
“Misty!” I tossed a box covered in bubble wrap towards her.
“I figured it was you, Ash...” Misty said as she opened the box. “A Sea Incense?” She held up the small, blue lantern-like object by its string. “It’s beautiful!”
The little charade continued for about an hour, with gifts like my new headphones from Stacee (my old ones had broken) and May’s guide on exotic Berries from Chelsea.
“Thanks for these.” said Zach, with the Magnet Hold Item from Ash. Like Ash, Zach had a Pikachu and used it often in battles.
“There’s more to come.” I said as the grandfather clock chimed 11. “And we will get to them later! Now let’s get to bed.”
After a rather lengthy good-night, we departed into our rooms. May and I shared a room (with separate beds, of course) along with a bathroom.
“Night, May.” I said as we shared one last kiss.
“See you in the morning.” she added with a wink.
I smiled to myself as I went under the covers. “Merry Christmas.”
~~~~~End Part~~~~~
Sorry if I seemed to skimp on some details, but I might revise this later. ^^;;;

Christmas chapter is next. :)

Ha! Beat the PM! ;P

The gifts were nice...and this Josh seems like a nice enough guy. Moving past that...the Mirror Game was funny. ^^ I can totally picture that.

I'll be waiting for more.
