Overview
That day, that day that nobody expected, the day Earth was split into eight.
The day when those things took over.
The only way to fight them is with the help of our Pokemon and these weapons we've nicknamed Pokeswords.

Year 2998, Today all the media is reporting on what just happened,
Earth has perfectly shattered into eight, I am investigating as I write this.

Still havent answered my original question, but it seems us humans and Pokemon have adapted to this new way of life, seeing as that naming the fragments: Oracle/Elite/Cell/Oasis/Valor/Hollow/Golem/Night Sky,we have built Trams to connect the fragments, and are going to elect a leader to assist us.

All seemed peaceful, but as soon as our guard was down deadly humanoid creatures came and attacked us, at first I suspected they were Pokemon ,but now im curious to what they really are.

It is now year 2999, I am now 90
A military has been created to fight for the fragments against the infected.
Battle System
The biggest factor of this game will be the battling, the battling will be simple:
Attack-Defense=Damage
Attack and Defense will be determined on the Pokesword you are using, Pokemon will assist you greatly after placing you attack you will decide what attack your Pokemon will use which will add to your attack
Example:
Bob's Hp=10 Attack=10 Defense=4 Sp=5
Bill's Hp=8 Attack=5 Defense=5 Sp=5
Pikachu's IronTail=5/4pp Thunder=3/2pp Total PP=7
Bob attacks Bill
Pikachu uses thunder
Bill loses 8Hp
Bill now has 0Hp
Bill has lost
Another part of battling is PP and SP
PP is slightly diffrent in this game because instead of taking away an individual total, they decrease a main total.
SP can only be used when using a Special Attack rather then the ordinary attack, a Special Attack will be unique to each Pokesword
you can use a Special Attack as many times as you want until your Sp runs out.(Note:Sp varies between Pokeswords and each Special Attack has a diffrent Sp cost)

Objectives
Every Game Day (3 real days) I will PM each member the objectives of their respective platoons.
The objectives will be done free-willingly, but the objectives are what will rank you up (Explained next) and let you continue in the story, if i send 3 objectives and your Platoon only finishes one then you will have to do the other two the next game day, and you will only get one new Objective that day. Objectives will have points next to them so you can decide which ones to do, at times certain objectives will have to be done in certain orders, you will also get extra objectives which dont affect the story at all.
Ranks
Ranks are one of the most important things you will have thay will allow you to use certain Pokeswords or buy things at the store, they will also determine
what moves your Pokemon can learn.
These are the ranks and the points you need to reack them:
Private 5 points needed
Private Second-Class 8 points needed
Private First-Class 11 points needed
Specialist 14 points needed
Corporal 19 points needed
Sergeant 24 points needed
First Sergeant 29 points needed
Sergeant Major 34 points needed
Leuitenant Second-Class 40 points needed
Leuitenant First-Class 46 points needed
Leuitenant Colonel 52 points needed
Colonel 59 points needed

Pro Team
When we start you will be put in platoons of three, and you will all begin as Recruits, I though will be Leuitenant Colonel and either helping you guys or doing my own thing, but once you become a Leuitenant First-Class you will have the decision to join my Platoon which will have deadlier missions and Its own spot in the story.

Here is a list of the starter Pokeswords which you will be able to choose from:
Neon Sword
Hp:5 Attack:4 Defense:3 Sp:2
Special Move: Multi-Hit
Attack with constant slashes damage is equal to your attack times 3.
Armored Sword
Hp:4 Attack:3 Defense:4 Sp:2
Special Move: Damage-Proof
Creates a special shield, doubles your Defense.
Dark Pokeswords
A weapon I will be using and if you choose to use one later on to will be dark pokeswords, incredibly strong but with the small price of each attack using your Hp. Special attacks taking half of your Hp.
Tactics
These will be special extras you can choose to allow you to make extra damage or save you in battles:
Extra Pistol: Lets you do 2 extra damage to an opponent at the end of your turn regardless of Defense (Will eventually do more damage)
Medic: Lets you heal 2 Hp every 3 turns of any platoon member. (Will eventually heal more.
