Free SD card w/purchase of 3DS?

So we all know that the 3DS will come with a complimentary 2 gig SD card, but I just read on IGN that the 3DS supports 4 gig to 32 gig, and 2 gig is outside of this range. Is it a mistake on IGN's part or is Nintendo tricking us?

No, anything that supports Micro SDHC - 4GB to 36 GB - is compatible with Micro SD - 2GB and lower -.
