For the people who have used Freeloaders to activate the Celebi Bonus Disc:

Does it mess up your game? Is this considered "cheating" (since you are technically trading from a "fake Japanese save file")? Would the freeloader damage your Disc (which I paid A LOT for)?

Also, does anyone have a picture of their bonus disc? I want to make sure that I wasn't ripped off by a bootlegged copy.

Mine looks a little different from this: http://leafgreen.free.fr/celebi-bonus-disc.jpg (which was the only picture I found)

Wow I wish thwy made pokemon look like that. I don't Know but I think that even copys are supposed to have the exact same coding into them so you should be fine...er...Ithink.

You would have been beter off sharking a celebi in ruby, trading to Emerald, amd then trading to colo. A friend told me it CAN be done. I even made a thread asking that. I haven't tested it though(the trading). Its at least cheap($30.00). How much was that disk?

I personally don't think it's cheating, despite if it's a "fake" save file. The Pokemon most likely still have legit values so that if you were to enter them in official tourneys, you wouldn't get disqualified.

Your version is the normal one that other Japanese stores gave, the one in the picture is the one the JPN Pokemon Centers gave away for pre-orders. The PokeCenter ones contain a Pokemon Channel demo. The normal ones contain trailers of "upcoming" games at that time.

Man, I wish I had a Celebi, Yahoo! Japan has discs selling for 9000 yen and up, which is like a lot, especially after paying back the deputy services for their services. Celebi, why don't you return my love for you? lol

You're not ripped off, just blessed with money and luck. =D Or you can pretend you're ripped off and let me buy it off you. j/k

Heh, I'll distribute as many Celebis as I can via Wi-Fi. From what I have heard, one can get 48 Celebis total from each Colosseum save files.

Once Wi-Fi comes out, it's distributin' time!

its not cheating cause your actually playing the game. all youre doing is telling the gamecube to play the disc.

I got used to using the Freeloader feature on my Action Replay. Interestingly enough it didn't work!!! I was a bit worried, then I dug around & found my old Freeloader. Put that in & it worked beautifully.
