Angel of Chaos
Well..... due to the failure of my last fic, I decided to start another one. The inspiration came to me just last week when my mother and I went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I started daydreaming about what it would be like to have the young wizard and a young Pokemon trainer meet at Hogwarts. Some events in the story are made up, some are taken from the newest book: the Half- Blood Prince and are really in the book. Deciphor which ones are fake and which are real. Warning: May include spoilers for the 6th book in the Harry Potter series.
Prologue:
Rain poured down. Cold, hard rain. The only warmness in the large room was from a fire roaring in the fireplace. The room was layered in gold and red, with two halls that led to a boys' and girls' dormitories. Two chairs were drawn up tp the fire. In one sat a boy, fourteen years old, with dark black hair, glasses, and a lightning bolt-shaped scar on his forehead. The other contained a girl, also fourteen, with golden blond hair and strangely beautiful crystal blue eyes. At her feet sat a small electric Pokemon that looked like a mouse. The Pikachu was sound asleep. Suddenly, the girl burst into tears.
"Oh Harry," she sobbed, "I can't believe..."
The boy stood up and shook his head, "Don't worry, Kris, it's going to be OK." He walked over to the window and sighed. So much had happened during the last school year. So much had happened since Kris had first arrived at Hogwarts.
-----
About a year before Kris and Harry sat in the Gryffindor common room, a man with rough grey hair and steely eyes sat and waited in his office. Waiting for a man he neither knew nor seen before. He glanced at the clock, wandering if the guest would arrive or not. Suddenly, a knock sounded on the door and a tall man with blue hair walked into the room. He wore a white cloak which stood out against the other man's black one.
"Sootopolis, good, you're here," the grey haired man stood up to shake the oddly dressed man's hand, "Rufus Scrimgeour," he said, introducing himself.
"Wallace Sootopolis," th other man replied.
"Last time I met the Pokemon Champion, it was Stone," Scrimgeour said.
"Last time I met with the Minister of Magic, it was Cornelius Fudge," Wallace replied.
"So, what did you want to talk to me about?" Scrimgeour asked.
"It's about the Chosen One, Kristal Reeves. Dumbledore has agreed to let her come to Hogwarts to learn the other side of the force," Wallace replied.
"Why should she? She's fighting against the Shadow Forces, not the Dark Lord."
Wallace leaned in close and lowered his voice so he would not be heard, "We believe that the Dark Lord may have ties to the Shadow Forces."
Scrimgeour sat back in his chair and sighed, "Since the Great War started, the Death Eaters have started to get restless..." he paused, "Has Kristal ever stayed in a school long before?"
"No, actually not. But, I'm sure she'll do fine. She's been studying and practicing all summer long."
"Why should she be here in the first place, we have no threats from the Shadow," Scrimgeour replied.
"Like I said, the Dark Lord may have ties to the Shadow," Wallace stood up, nodded a good bye to the Minister, and left. Scrimgeour watched the Aquapolian leave and wandered why,all of a sudden, the half- human and half- Pokemon race was so interested in the doings of the magical community. Sure, the Aquapolians took human form and had Pokemon types, but they weren't magical and didn't communicate with the Ministry hardly at all. Scrimgeour looked out his window at the pouring rain and wandered what the world was coming to.
