Is Incineroar now the consensus 6th strongest Ash Pokémon? Or still arguable alongside Snorlax, Krookodile and possibly Lycanroc?
So the question is who completes Ash's dream team, instead of Ash's strongest pokemon. So he already has 2 fire types in his dream team. So incineroar has to sit out of the race and maybe Snorlax completes the team!!

Is there even a consensus for who the other 5 are just so we can discuss who deserves to the sixth?
"PICS" was there since around BW-time... And then there's Greninja who, in his "unperfected" Ash-Greninja form, went toe-to-toe against a Champion Ace...
Well he still has the Pokéball. And he needs the watertype for balanceCan we really count greninja though? If we're building ash's best team then shouldn't we focus on Pokémon ash actually has?

Yeah... I mean, even Lapras, Pidgeot and Butterfree can be listed... It's just that nobody brings them up since they're not even in the Top 15-20...
If we are talking about gamewise then three firetypes are disaster anyone can kill me with rock type but in anime where type matchups are not everything and going with feats it should be GPIICS- greninja, pikachu, sceptile, infernape, incineroar and charizard. the reamining 4 in his top 10 are krokodile, swellow, melmetal and bulbasaur.
Ash never released Greninja. He gave Oak 5 pokeballs at the beginning of SM, and we knew from XY itself that he never properly released Goodra, either. Likewise, the narrative of that episode implied it was just a mission for Greninja, and once it was done, he would return to Ash, so I think it's fair to say he should still be included. My point is greninja isn't his Pokémon anymore. He released it.
I personally feel only pokemon he actually has can count
You're talking about feats, yet list Incineroar. Torracat was criminally underused and has little to no feats outside of its Incineroar-rivalry.
Melmetal in your top 10?!? Where's Snorlax?!? You were talking about feats right? Good win vs. Claire in Johto, about 4 to 5 League wins, Soloing Greta's two Fighting-types? No, lets put Melmetal up there with its two wins (and one loss), of which one was comical.
And Swellow? Really? Can't take Melmetal and Swellow over Snorlax seriously.
