>.< It's really nothing to be proud of.
Let's start off with the basics, shall be?
The outline. First of all, the outline shouldn't be completely black. Second, it's too thick- see a spriting tutorial (there's a whole thread with them) on how to make a proper outline, because it shouldn't have corners. You'll see what I mean.
The shape. It's rather plain, and it looses its curve at the tail. It's arms are too straight and not smoothe enough, especially on the forearm of the left arm. Plus the arms are a bit too low.
The color. I can't believe people are saying this is good. All he did was take a tool in the program he was using and with a few simple clicks he was able to do this. There was almost no thought or effort involved in coloring it, and it's sad that you took the easy way out of coloring. It doesn't even look impressive.
The shading. Oh, wait: what shading? There should be both shadows and highlights, neither of which are present, merely because it's almost impossible to shade something with that kind of coloring. So now it looks flat and two-dimentional, and really quite boring.
Overall: it was a simple sprite, boring and dull, which you obviously made within ten minutes. Seriously, do some REAL spriting, not just playing around with a bunch of coloring tools. Your spriting needs serious work, and I HIGHLY advise you read the tutorials- they're a HUGE help.
