Zurui walked around the house, a cat at her heels. Her blonde hair flowed around her shoulders, contrasting greatly with the brown roots showing from the top of her head. She stopped as the cat sat and mewed for attention. She picked it up, stroking the furry head, chuckling as it purred loudly. Cats had always held some attraction for her, so it was natural that the cat she owned followed her.
Just then the phone rang, and the startled cat jumped from Zurui’s arms and darted under the couch. Zurui picked up the phone. “Sohma Residence, who calls?” she asked and listened to the voice on the other end, nearly dropping the phone when she heard it. “Sukai disappeared? Hold, on, I’ll be there. Yeah, this is his sister,” she said, and hung up the phone, and in a dash ran to find Ouishi(Sp?)
“Suki transformed,” she said, panting.
Meanwhile, at the school, the children whispered excitedly and curiously, wondering where the Sohma boy had gone, and where the little white cat had come from, that had scurried off in such a hurry.
“And Sukai-san’s clothes are still here too,” a girl sni/ggered.
