The Future Is Near
This is my team for in-game use. Open to all suggestions. Can someone help with held items? Thanks!

503.png

Item: Life Orb
Ability: Torrent
-Surf
-Megahorn
-Ice Beam
-Grass Knot

534.png

Item: Leftovers
Ability: Encourage
-Bulk Up
-Stone Edge
-Ankle Sweep/Brick Break/ Hammer Arm
-Payback

I feel good about this setup but I know it's not flawless.

604.png

Item: Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
-Wild Bolt
-Coil
-Dragon Claw
-Brick Break

Again I'm going with physical attacks on this one, but mostly because I want to use coil since it's a new move and ups 3 stats. Wild Bolt since it's a new move too.

609.png

Item: Wise Glasses
Ability: Flame Body
-Will-O-Wisp
-Evil Eye
-Flamethrower
-Energy Ball

I feel pretty good about this one, but I'm sure someone can point out its flaws.

625.png

Item: Scope Lens
Ability: Competitive Spirit
-Psycho Cut
-Iron Head
-Swords Dance
-Night Slash

635.png

Item: Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
-Outrage
-Dark Pulse
-Flamethrower
-Cheer Up

I have flamethrower to take care of ice types.

---Well there is my team. I am totally open for different movesets. So all help and criticism is welcome. And even though I'm pretty set on this team, I'm open for suggestions on replacing one pokemon for another.

For Daikenki run Surf, Megahorn, Filler, Filler. You can fill those spots in with Toxic and Dragon Tail if you'd like, but Surf and Megahorn are the biggest and most important moves to Daikenki. Hitting hard on both sides of the spectrum, Megahorn neutralizes the grass resist of Surf, and kills many many Grass pokes with Daikenki's above average Attack.

U-Turn seems as a waste to Shibirudon.I reckon going mixed will be a blessing, run Thunder over Wild Bolt, because of Coil's ability to raise accuracy and no recoil. Brick Break is good for Steels, and Flamethrower for Grass types.

I would put Dragon Claw over Crush Claw on Shibirudon.

Thanks for the help on Daikenki, I used your advice and I'm feeling better about that setup.

On Shibirudon I agree that U-Turn needed to go, I kinda just threw that on there. However, I'm probably sticking with Wild Bolt simply because it's a new move that I'm interested in using. And I also wanted to stick with the physical attack side (might change my mind later) so coil will benefit all moves, so I put crust claw in. I'm not set on that but I like it better than U-Turn.

Thanks for the help and feedback.

Aerial Ace for Kirikizan's first move.

Energy Ball instead of Confuse Ray on Shandera, since EB covers three of its weaknesses, and W-o-W is enough to boost Evil Eye anyway.

Your Roopushin is actually very good ;)

Thanks for the feedback. I believe aerial ace is best for the first move on Kirikizan as well. Good call on energy ball, I edited in.

And yeah I'm liking my Roopushin. Do you think I should use level ground or payback? I gave him the encourage ability so it eliminates the moves secondary effect, so try to take that into consideration. On that note, does anyone know if this will prevent hammer arm from lowering his speed?

I have a vendetta against phazing or Toxic in-game on Pokes who really don't need it...Daikenki fits into this nicely, what with its 100 Atk and 108 SpA. I guess you could just go for general coverage instead, with Return and Grass Knot > Toxic and Dragon Tail. Though the latter two do work; I'm just providing a different tactic here.

Roopushin definitely wants Payback > Level Ground. From what I understand of Encourage, the power of the move is boosted by 30% if the secondary effect affects the opponent. Payback's effect is dependant upon you going after your enemy, so it should be fine.

Kirikizan wants Psycho Cut > Aerial Ace; a 2x SE Aerial Ace has the same bp as a neutral STAB Iron Head. Psycho Cut, therefore, is superior, if the intent is to hit Fighting hard.

Sazandora has the same problem with Charge Beam that Kirikizan had above. No matter what you do, bar HP[Electric], Dragon Pulse is superior against all Water types, sans Empoleon and the Water/Flying types. If the intent is to boost SpA, Cheer Up is better, as it will always grant a boost. And if you do that, you probably can afford to use Outrage or Crunch > Dragon Pulse or Dark Pulse. This way, you can at least hit the specially bulky Waters harder.

As for items:
Daikenki @ Life Orb (if using an offensive set)/Leftovers (if using your set)
Roopushin @ Leftovers
Shibirudon @ Leftovers
Shanderaa @ Wise Glasses/Rugged Helmet
Kirikizan @ Scope Lens
Sazandora @ Leftovers

Not completely sure about the latter three, but meh.

Payback's effect is dependant upon you going after your enemy, so it should be fine. Ankle Sweep is, with Encourage, weaker than Hammer Arm by 2 base power (3 with STAB), but you have 10% more accuracy, as well as no Spe drops.

Wow, very helpful, thanks! I agree with using toxic in-game. I might eventually use something other than return and grass knot later on, but it's probably overall better for now.

With Roopushin, I believe that hammer arm is probably not the best choice. What would be a better choice, ankle sweep or brick break?

For Kirikizan, wow I didn't notice psycho cut! Definitely using that over aerial ace.

The changes on Sazandora seem to benefit the moveset so I'm going with it.

Thanks for helps on held items and overall help!

I didn't noticed it can learn Psycho Cut either :p So yeah, definitely use that instead of Aerial Ace.

IMO Ankle Sweep for Roopushin - the Speed drop can help your team and.....it has more PP? xD

Egg moves ftw, guys lol.

It has 10 more PP; Encourage, however, nullifies Ankle Sweep's effect, so no luck there. I'm not sure atm whether Brick Break's effect is nullified, so based on lack of info, I'd say use Ankle Sweep.

Woot.

EDIT: Ankle Sweeper has 78 bp, not 98. I completely failed with my math there...my apologies. So it's a pretty hefty trade-off. I'd say stick with Hammer Arm. My apologies, seriously.

EDIT2: Roopushin wants Rock Slide > Stone Edge; the former is 3 bp lower (I triple checked this time), but has higher BP and accuracy.

ah yeah, Roopushin has Encourage -_-

in that case, it's either Brick Break or Hammer Arm - I prefer Brick Break due to accuracy.
