Has anyone noticed that Diamond and Pearl have been improved into futuristic matters for example the PC and also the Legendaries.

Hmm... that's an interesting observation. If it is in the future, that might be yet ANOTHER thing to connect it with GSC. Not that I think there are patterns.

Maybe it will be like G/S where you had to have a time machine to trade with the R/B games. Remember that you couldn't take Johto pokemon or pokemon with newer moves like Waterfall into the time machine. I am sure it would be the same thing, like you cannot take the newer Shinou pokemon like Lucario into the trading room when trading with FR/LG or R/S/E.

Actually the move waterfall wasn't new. Seaking learns it in RBY.

I think he meant even farther into the future. (After RSE and FRLG)
Which is normal. Because these are going to be the fourth generation games. I personally don't think those Legendaries look futuristic - just more detailed then most of what we've seen. The evolution of technology in these games is just a normal thing. Times change, eh?

I recall it was mentioned that Shinou was possibly going to be more hi-tech in comparison to the other generations.

But really, it makes sense - the plotline doesn't necessarily hop all over the place like it does in The Legend of Zelda, so it's only natural that the technologies and opportunities are getting bigger and better. We get more PC space with each game, the Pokedex grows more sophisticated, it all gets more advanced over time.

Look at the units we're playing these games on, as well: before we needed to get clunky monochrome screens with barely discernable graphics, but nowadays we have these amazing two-screen full-color devices and styli to boot. ;]

Just because people don't reply don't mean they don't read it. I've heard you get angry about this on other boards. I read your other posts. I didn't have anything to say about it. So I didn't reply. That's probably what most everyone else did.

The pc i noticed is more futrueistic but the pokemon? I dont see how they are as well.

The pokemon are pokemon the technology though is changing

The Ninja-Mage

well the 2 legendary pokemon sort of revealed seem to look a bit on the technological side, they seem to sport a flashy metallic armor, so there's room to imagine they might be hybrid type pokemon my guess is Metal/???, I can't really say what I think since there's not enough info on the 2 pokemon at this time but I want to say the blue one is Metal/Water mainly because of the color :p.

But yah the game looks a bit more futuristic in technology but in appearence it all looks modern day - town wise and crap.

It doesn't necessarily have to be set further down the timeling than the other games... look at Colosseum and XD, they seemed to be in something like a futuristic post-war wasteland. The new legendaries could also be part Steel-type.

Have a nice day!
Not all of them are futuristic. Hoenn seemed pretty down to earth. I mean there was nothing in Hoenn that are technology couldn't do. GSC an C+XD were the only really futuristic ones. However, as in GSC, we have a generation trading breach, I suspect D/P will be futuristic so that we can use something similar to the time machine to trade back to 3rd Generation games.

I didn't know we could put animals into tiny balls and transport them all over the world by trading, or create pokemon that adapt to the weather! Sorry, I had to say that. I actually agree with you. Except for what I mentioned, they pretty much have the same, if not less, technology that we do.
