Game and Anime?

I just was wondering about whether most people here are fans of either the anime series, the games or both. Apologies if this thread is a clone

When i was young (about 11 to 13) i watched the anime series, but i grew out of it (not that i don't like the episodes ive seen in a nostalgic way. Gotta love Jesse and James). I don't know if the morning cartoon show plays pokemon anymore, but i don't watch it. I only play the games now (the gba games, i own red, gold, leaf green and ruby).

I only play the games.

I used to watch the Anime, but I hate it now. It is in no way the same as the games. I mean, a Pikachu is able to beat a Marowak with Thunderbolt and a Geodude with Thundershock, a Charizard beats a Blastoise by melting the ground, according to the Anime, Arbok evolves into Seviper, etc.

And the Anime also gave pokemon the "kiddy" image.

I play games, no doubt, but I also watch the anime.

Just games. I used to watch the anime sometimes, but I hate it since what they did to Azami >.<

I play the games and watch the Anime. The Anime is just from time to time, though. Not eagerly, as it used to be. Now I just see what they're on about, and see if I there's any Fan Service worth recording. Good thing they have Chronicles now... quite a good thing to watch for once.

The games I play compulsively, though. I just can't get enough.

I can't really watch the cartoon all that much since I don't get KidsWB, and Cartoon Network only shows it on the weekend at bad times. I'd like to watch it, but it doesn't really bother me all that much. I play the games a lot more than I watch the anime.

During the fad, when I was young, I played the games and watched the show. Since I got back into Pokemon last year, I only play the games. I'm not so jaded anymore as to not notice that the show is pure and utter crap.

Really, I sort of only play the games now. I'll still watch the anime, but not that often. Boring now IMO. I'll watch the movies though.

Yay for only playing the games, the strongest pillar of the franchise. Compared to the game, the pillar of anime has crumbled and split into two.

Meh... I watch the anime sometimes, but it bores me a lot of the time. The games are a lot more amusing.

I only play the games. I have found some of the anime episodes so childish that they get embarrasing. The games are childish too so I guess I can not talk...

I play the games most often. I haven't seen a new episode of the anime since Asuna's/Lavaridge's episodes.

I only play the games now. I used to watch the anime, but I got kind of burned out with it.
