Obviously. He's saying that you can't buy coins to get 9999, you have to get 9950, gamble and lose on coin, and then buy 50 to get 9999.

the thing with 9950 is that you cannot buy 50 coins when you have 9950, since the coin case can only hold 9999. lose one coin, buy 50 more, and you have 9999.

if you're good with timing you can win a lot of coins. i usually buy half of what i want and gamble for the rest to save money, but going through the elite four (or the rich ladies) with the amulet coin trains while getting money, so it might be worth your while to just save up.

Well, you can go buy them, but to get you started with coins, ask people in the gaming corner who are at the slots, and there are invisible piles of coins in the game corner. You just have to go around one step at a time or use the itemfinder(I'm not sure if that works, cuz like an idiot, I didn't try.) This will get you about 400 or so. I just thought I'd give you that little peice of information along with what everyone else gave.

I think you should track down the "fair" machine. I believe there's one of them in every game, but it's always in a different position. Winning the coins at the slots is much faster than buying them if you can find the fair machine. I've never had to buy coins.

if you use the item finder in the game corner you will always get coins but it takes TONS of time
